- I hung around Lake Biwa (the largest lake in Japan) with Garu.
It was a sunny and perfect holiday.
When I walk with Garu, a lot of people talk to me.
There are people who ask me how to keep owls, children who stare at Garu, and men who silently take pictures of Garu.
I hope you meet us and like owls.

I love the crowd's reaction to Garu. Seeing a pet that is out of the ordinary just seems to bring out the child inside of everyone. It's like seeing magic.
