Le dernier jour d'un condamné -- PIVOTAL MOMENT

Clip from Davide Alagna's opera Le dernier jour d'un condamné (The Last Day of a Condemned Man) -- an interesting production featuring the novella's character as both a 19th century man and a 20th century woman prisoner. This is a pivotal moment for the 19th century aspect of the character in Act II. Tenor Roberto Alagna nails it here -- possibly the best thing Alagna has done.
