I completely agree with you about cooking it in the sauce as well and maybe at a higher temperature. Also, possibly try it in the Airfryer to give it that little crispness?

Maybe in the air fryer would be good. I would for sure advise cooking it in the sauce.

Have you tried the No Evil Pit Boss Pulled 'Pork' BBQ? If not, I would definitely HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend it!!!

I think the texture you didnt like was the cooking on the stove. A non vegetarian told me she couldn't tell the difference but my husband cooked it on the grill, with barbecue sauce
I can see the grill giving it the flavor and texture that is needed.
As soon as you pulled it out of the package, it looked like texture soy protein, which needs to be hydrated. This one is already hydrated, so yes, you would want to squeeze out the excess water and then fry it. I am guessing that's how this should've been made and they should've included instructions! You're very kind. Lol..

I’ve been waiting for Better Chew to come to Canada for years. Shame the texture wasn’t the best. I’ll still try it if I see it, though. Cheers!

I love how you were trying hard to still be nice and give grace when it came to the “love me nots” BUT friend, I was skeptical from the beginning 😂 I think some foods aren’t meant to be vegan. Or, maybe it just needs more perfecting. Loved the video!
