You may need a visa if you are going to be transiting through immigration in Singapore. I suggest applying for transit visa if you get different pnrs for the two legs

I always suggest carrying old passport especially if you had any visa stamps. You never know when it comes handy. I was exempted visa in one of the countries because they saw an old schengen visa in my old passport

Singapore isn't the most strict country for tourists but because you have your husband, the authorities may doubt that you can immigrate there. I suggest writing a cover letter and mentioning some family ties or duties back in Bangladesh to prove you will return to your home after meeting your husband.

Yes you can easily travel with a reliable travel agent filling your form. You can write a cover letter explaining how it will be your first international trip, where all you will go in singapore, and that you dont have ongoing earnings to show but you have savings from your previous ventures. Should not be a problem as long as everything is genuine

Hi, very low chances of rejection - you just have to make sure you submit all the paper work accurately, like your contract with US company, NOC from them, and also a nice cover letter in which you clearly mention why you want to visit singapore, for how long, and that you will return to India for your family or something.

You can mention in your cover letter that your are a contractual employee, hence do not receive payslips but you've attached proof of income as bank statement

Nothing is needed to apply as a tourist. I think you should take consultation from another agency, dont trust them if they are asking for random documents. Anyone is free to visit Singapore even if you dont know anyone there

You should give your current address. It is not necessary to update the passport for Singapore visa but other countries may be finicky about it. I suggest getting it updated at the soonest possible.

No, you need to leave the country before 12 April. You cannot stay after that, else you can be banned or heavily fined.

Yes, usually you have to take permission from your office for leaving the country.

it's single entry or multiple entry within visa period. because I am just landing in Singapore and then will go to bali. then will come back to Singapore. live there for 3-4 days and fly back to india
Usually it’s single entry but you should mention this plan in your application and cover letter to get multiple entry visa

Hey! If you have put citizenship somewhere else on the form, country of residence should be the US because you do have a residency permit and address proof for the US home you live in

Wouldn't it be easier for you to apply for a tourist visa? Just tell them you want to visit the country for 10-15 days and show them an itinerary and you should be good.

today only jetsave one of the authorized agent of Singapore Visa refused to accept visa application without cover letter, confirmed flight ticket and other documents. Not only that they want you to fill the form with ink and sign the photograph across.
Now tell me who is your agent who only gets your visa done with such bare minimum documents.
Even the Delhi consulate website says you need to give the documents which i mentioned.
@@cybernenindia Cover letter is optional, only if you want to share any other info which is not covered in the form. The agent can manage the other docs, as my agent used to also do the tickets for me. I didn't share it but I suggested it to other people who say they have some off-ideal-case scenarios. Also I think you missed the part where I talked about the visa application form to be filled :)

It’s not in MMT or any party’s control as they are just facilitating it. The visa is given by the Singaporean authorities- you can include the request for a multiple entry visa in your cover letter

Hey, no that should not be an issue. The application doesn’t go into that much detail. But you will still have to apply through an agent - individuals cannot file for their own applications yet. You can choose mmt or some airline too as agent

Hi Shreya! I'll be visiting Singapore in June. My date of entry is 5th of June. I'll then depart for Malaysia on 12th which is Visa-free now I guess. So, my question was when should I apply for the Singapore tourist E-visa? As I have assumed the visa validity date is counted from the issue date and not travel dates. I am not sure who gave you the information of visa starting from issue date. It never is the case, be it any country's visa. You should get your sg visa before you depart from India so you dont have to worry through your Malaysia trip! Put the tentative travel dates as per your actual plan. Hope this helps! The case is different with vietnam. They give visa according to your requested dates. (15 days period)

I don't suggest applying as a group in that case. They should go on tourist visa and apply that online. They can fly directly from Odisha and you can fly from Delhi

It's not recommended at all plus the companies may not give you job on the basis of a tourist visa. You may be asked to go back to your home country to apply for work visa in some cases

Yes even I got US Schengen all by myself but Singapore visa doesn’t have a portal for direct application by the tourist. You can go to Yatra or akbar or other agent

Hey I applied for SIN visa via Akbar Travels they asked me for the passport and the fee was 3500/- and I courierd my documents.
It's been 6 days, I called them and confirmed the status of my application they said by next Wednesday I will receive. My travel dates are 18th-25th September.
Can anyone tell me am I being scammed here?

Hello, there are chances if rejection because they can doubt that you could immigrate. You should give strong reason to visit and also some good documentation and cover letter about your background
Get sponsor letter from your father along with bank statement and pay slip.
Is NOC from company required?
Ideally, yes it is needed
Tell the name of the agent
Is e-bank statement enough instead of taking print outs and sign on each page by going to the bank.
Stamped and signed are always preferred for any visa application.

On the official website, they have mentioned they need a photocopy. Not sure why your agent is asking for the physical passport.

@pune_life , for singapore visa, no need to inform your hr, apply through akbar travels. I have apppiled through akbar travels. Just form, cover letter and passport is required thats it.
