I learned in cosmo school, that heat activates the developer.. I wonder if you were to hit it with a hair blower if it would work faster?... and the higher the developer the more it opens up the follicles (in hair that is) so lower strength developer might work too it would probably just take longer.

Not sure if you're still reading comments here but I've got a pair of AF1 Kids that have a blue top and the line on the side where it says AIR is also blue. Do you think using this method will bleach the blue line and I should try to mask it off with some tape?
I mistakenly rubbed some the white off of one of my puma g. villas soles with 91% alcohol. Im devastated and don't know what to do, Please help!! How do I get the white back on it. I bought some those white posca markers I'm seeing on some videos and plan on just doing both feet completely over.
What if it's the opposite? My soles are fine but the actual shoe has a deep yellow stain but it's not leather. It honestly makes me think of nylon if thats the right material. Idk they're "Nike air force 1 crater"
Pretty much, yup. Will take a few applications depending on how yellow your pair is. As someone mentioned in the comments, the yellowing will probably come back at some point.

it worked so well thank you!! I used 30 developer though cause I have this for my wigs, but it worked just as good! another session and they should be snow white🤙🏾
I have some forces that aren't even all that old. They are white so I only wear them in summer. I always clean them before I store them away but I just discovered two skinny yellow, almost neon looking stains on each shoe. I've tried at least 3 diff cleaners and none removed the stain. The stain is on the leather parts not the bottom like this video. Please help
It's actually called developer. It's added to bleach when dying hair. U can get it at any drug store. Buy a box of hair dye just look on the box for the level of developer.

You from Philly or Jersey?
Telling by the wrinkle you might need to buy forces half a size smaller and should stuff them every time they're not on your feet
You think it’ll work on a flyers jacket with leather sleeves. I got my Flyers jacket from a thrift but it has heavy yellow staining

Do you specifically need to use salon care 40? I live in the Netherlands and I don’t think any store sells it
I think you can also use Angelus Sole Bright, they’re sold on websites as “leerverfshop.nl” and “customsbybb.nl” :) I definitely prefer Leerverfshop! Goodluck!
You can use any developer that is 40 volume. It’s essentially a bleaching component
Best tutorial I’ve seen so far!! Keep up the good work 👌👌👌

Thank you so much this worked on my sneakers. The color has been restored back to its original state.
My problem is the stitching.. that’s what’s turning yellow. Do you think this would work on that too? Cause I don’t wanna ruin the shoe lol
Just wash them with half detergent and half bleach it should turn white
I just use a toothbrush and water and brush over the stitching
In the UK you can use Jerome Russell Creme Peroxide 40 Vol (£1.69 from Boots). Worked on my yellowing Air Force 1's.
