After the latest sucessful releases such as Majetek Longines strikes again: This time with the new Spirit Flyback: The first thing that caught our attention was a height of only 11.7mm which is for a complication such as flyback chronograph impressiv. Overall, we had fun trying and discovering this timepiece and definitely fell in love. What is your take on this timepiece? Compared to the Majetek, which one would you prefere and why? Let us know in the comment section down below 👇😊
To be fair, i know some people judge the thickness of these type of watches but we have to not forget, that it`s is still a flyback with a central oscillator. As you can see in the video, the model has an average wristsize of 19cm and has an average body type - the watch still looks good though without looking too bold. ☺
I own this watch in the blue version on a bracelet. The only criticisms I have are the hands, the polished hands are difficult to read at times and I prefer the bead blasted hands on my original Spirit watch. Also the chronograph hand needs a red tip as the older spirit has and also the new titanium model (The Redback as I've named it) to be easily visible to older eyes. I approached Longines UK about getting a red tip hand fitted at my cost but they were negative in their reply. I went back to the small dealer I bought from and they agreed to take mine in at the same price I paid and I just make up the difference in price for the titanium version which was very good of them. I just have to wait a few weeks now as they don't have the quick service the chain stores have. 31/12/23
Thank you very much for the very detailed feedback and i am happy it worked out for you eventually. I had to look at the blue version after your feedback and never thought of this before, since in my opinion the goldish hands on the blue dial surface was enough of a contrast for me. But i understand that depending on the angle and on the light, the hands might get "lost" on the dial...
To be fair, for a flyback chronograph with an central oscillator, the thickness is quite acceptable. Looking at the wrist comparison, watch looks very good on an average wrist size of 19cm 🙂
@@LesAmbassadeurs-Watches an average male wrist size is most definitely not 19cm, more like 17-18cm I’d say. And again, a lovely watch, just very chunky!
don't think it looks similiar but eventually you are limited in terms of design when it comes to a flyback and this could lead to similarities. I feel like the Longines is bit more elegant and vintage inspired while the Blancpain is more modern.

It’s a handsome watch, like all of Longines Spirit line. But 17mm thick! 😬
It's a table clock 😅😅😅
