This album is like a magnum opus, for Isaac to put so much passion and pain into his lyrics, only to leave the band after it releases, it feels like the ultimate catharsis.
I don't know what they had in mind specifically when they wrote this song, but it made me cry the first time I heard it, as soon as I heard "And the doctor said, "We are unfortunately running out of options to treat" ", as my mom passed away from cancer a few months before listening. Bless you all.

I don't know anything about you, but this will surely help. Also, the first month and a half is the worst period. Past that point, I think you start to feel a little bit more comfortable with yourself. Final advice: don't fear being unhappy with yourself or in front of others: faking emotions will destroy you (as I have done that for years), don't be too shy or too proud to be just yourself. Your world will be different sooner or later, it's a matter of time. How much? It's up to you. Stay strong :))

This isn’t anything I’d normally see, I searched about the jet Concorde and something about the seat leather face just crazily popped up, absolutely goes to show you can’t judge a book by it’s cover, I’m so out of the loop, this is an amazing piece of artwork 🖼️ and sound genius.
Every new song sounds like a different band while still sounding like BCNR. I'm hearing echoes of Pavement and, unexpectedly but delightfully, Jonathan Richman. They've pretty much ticked all the numbers on my 'favourite underground bands of the last fifty years' bingo card while still sounding fresh and exciting.
The JR reference is good. Hadn’t thought about it but yes. The first Modern Lovers album is still a masterpiece. I bought it aged 16 when released in 1976 and it completely changed my direction on music. Incredible that they actually recorded it in 1972! With BCNR I was hearing a bit of Slint but you’re right there’s a lot of varied underground influences.Love the album this sounds great too.

This song is my firm favourite of Black Country, New Road 👍 What I noticed the most is the lyric “Then Issac will suffer, Concorde will rise”. It’s like Issac knew he was going to leave the band and wanted to make one last gem of a song before he went. He will be missed. I hope the rest of them continue to make amazing music like this 😊🎵
It is difficult to exercise a fully formed narrative in any music video. However, 'Concorde' offers something quirky, impactful, and dynamic to bring this brilliant song to life! It has a special and unassuming way of making you feel invested.
The costuming in this looks like it's on the budget of $100 bucks, but has the finesse of a good movie. It feels like its Star Wars on earth with our modern items and all the way down to 1900s items, and in a modern rural area of England or the USA (or wherever this was shot). It feels like you can't pin down the era it's in; it's timeless. The people that worked on this need serious praise.

This song is my firm favourite of Black Country, New Road 👍 What I noticed the most is the lyric “Then Issac will suffer, Concorde will rise”. It’s like Issac knew he was going to leave the band and wanted to make one last gem of a song before he went. He will be missed. I hope the rest of them continue to make amazing music like this 😊🎵

The costuming in this looks like it's on the budget of $100 bucks, but has the finesse of a good movie.
It feels like its Star Wars on earth with our modern items and all the way down to 1900s items, and in a modern rural area of England or the USA (or wherever this was shot). It feels like you can't pin down the era it's in; it's timeless. The people that worked on this need serious praise.
