  • SaaS companies often deliver different customer experiences based on user attributes. Premium customers might get access to paid features, new customers might see product walk-throughs, and international customers might see prices in their local currency. We typically think of this kind of “feature management” in the context of UI elements, user flows, or back-end processes. However, technical documentation can be a feature too. In this talk, I’ll share how my documentation team uses a feature management system to automatically sync documentation releases with product releases, serve specialized docs content to select groups of customers, and otherwise automate and personalize the reader experience.
