Thanks a lot! I really enjoyed digging into the world of giant fruits and vegetables and learning about the unique methods behind these record-breaking achievements. Glad you had fun watching!
13:00 heaviest carrot ever recorded was grown by Christopher Qualley of Otsego, Minnesota and weighs 22.44 pounds (10.17 kg). Qualley broke the previous record of 20 pounds, set in 2014 by Peter Glazebrook of the United Kingdom
Scary fruit to grow. Coconuts kill people every year falling from trees. How many people do you think have been hit on the head by a giant falling jackfruit?
Just to say that the world record was broken by Gareth Griffin (not Tony Glover) in 2023. I know because he’s my husband and I was photographing the weight in at the time!
Thanks for letting me know, Wendy! That’s incredible-congratulations to Gareth on breaking the record! Do you happen to have a few pictures or videos from the weigh-in? I’d love to do a video update on that if you’re up for it.
You had the correct photo from the BBC and the correct weight etc but then you posted a photo of Tony Glover who incidentally had the record a few years ago. I can send you a couple of photos to replace those if you like?
Thanks for letting me know, Wendy. If you could send the photos, that would be great. If I can’t update the visuals, I’ll make sure to update the video caption to mention Gareth’s record.
I really liked everything about this video except 1 thing...all your size comparisons were terrible. You have to choose things that are a standard size. You can't say nearly as big as a small boulder...you have to pick an object that doesn't vary, like a beach ball or a medicine ball. Your bowling ball example was pretty good except there are 2 different ball sizes.
Very informative and entertaining video. Those entrants were HUGE!
Great job on this video! It was so much fun to watch.

I live across the street from the Dill Family Farm, a pumpkin farm in Nova Scotia. Howard Dill, the previoud owner, was a 3 time record holder.

That would be the channel's main email address; wonderversevideos@gmail.com
how long to eat it completely?
10:32 incorrect! That’s the world‘s largest fern, not a tree
❤️ 🌹

0:31 That's only Americans mate ...
They my be big but what’s there nutrients like I’m sure it’s 30% less or more missing nutrients do to the fact it was grown for its size not flavor.
I don't believe this.
Chock full of fertilizer, so empty calories.
