This is my new favorite kitchen tool! Day 1 I was going to pressure cook a meat th-cam.com/users/postUgkxG-7WiT7ocumjytOpHDFt632PL0pxXRAg and potato stew, decided I wouldn't eat it that night so I went with a slow cook so I could go to bed and put it away in the morning. I love that versatility! The sauté feature works great and adds tons of extra flavor to dishes, and I can easily sizzle meats in the bottom then deglaze for some restaurant worthy flavors.Big bonus - you can cook a whole frozen chicken in about 2 hours. Amazing! I've seen a couple videos, haven't tried it yet, but I will soon!

Thank you for a wonderful recipe. I found 6 minutes with a 10 minute rest overcooked it just a bit. I did 5 minutes the second time round with a quick release was perfect. I didn't sear it first but seared it afterwards so the sides were crispy. Yum.

Cracked me up. A windowsill chocked full of potatoes and you used Instant potatoes. I understand why, but just tickled me. 😘🤣
I pressure cooked mine for 5 minutes as opposed to using steam. More tender. But very good recipe. Thanks. 👍🏼

@@LuckyDawgProductionsThe Instant Pot is outstanding for cooking potatoes! Six minutes with six minutes to cool down and you have excellent potatoes. Potato salad is excellent in the Instant Pot. Four pounds of large red potatoes quartered and four or five eggs depending on your taste. Put the potatoes in the bottom of the pot, put the trivet on top of the potatoes and try to get it pretty level. Put the eggs on the trivet and pressure on high for six minutes. Cool down for six minutes then remove the eggs to ice water for six minutes to help with pealing them. Remove the potatoes into a bowl. Add the eggs to the potatoes and season the way you always make potato salad. I love the way it comes out and was surprised the first time I cooked the potatoes and eggs together.

Wooden spoon to scrape your pot gets more tidbit flavor while deglazing and doesn't scratch the liner, you could have added your real potatoes but cook those for same amount time on pressure cook above with a higher second trivet
