Thanks for the video. Just an idea, I mark my rods with the measurements of all the important numbers, 0 to 10 , 11, 12 ,13 ,14 15, 18 and 27 inches. That way I can check a fish's size right where I am standing and know if I am keeping it or not and keep fishing without losing time walking to a cart or cooler or yardstick. When the bite is hot get it back out there pronto!

My wind screens on the GoPro hero11 help. Also I bypassed the multiple microphones by adding the media mod to it making it a 1 forward facing microphone device. Keeping the GoPro high on the chest closer to my face too. It’s all trial and error with GoPros and wind. Good luck hope that helps.
What day was this and how cold was the water?
Right before the storm last Sunday. The water temp in the low 60’s. Pomps should still be there. Just gotta find the new run outs after that big storm. Pomps are traveling from the north.

Definitely in May. There’s some residential pompano here now coming out of our creek systems. I catch Pompano in June too. Just gotta cast to deeper water.
@@staugustinesandmanfishing I'll be going around memorial day, which is end of may. I'm hoping that I can snag one. They are maybe my favorite to eat and haven't had one fresh like that. I love cooking pompano on the grill at about 400F for 30 mins. So good.
