My best tip ever: you can for example draw in the playlist by pressing p on your keyboard, c for slicing, t for muting. Make sure you deselect the option to play your vst with your keyboard
4:04 adding to this: If you want one or more of your lead layers to play at a different octave while still keeping the same midi, you can go into the plugin wrapper settings, go the tab with the little spanner and change the root note from C5 to any other C note (make sure to right click)
