I made it through main game without losing even once. Elite 4 were the issue, but Cynthia... I spammed hyper potions and my Gallade carried the team through Cynthia. The final blow came from Lucario when I thought all my pokemon were dead🤣

Ok this is great before you beat the game however post game not so much so what I found is that at the top of Route 228 there is an ace trainer with a Ambipom, Rapidash, but most of all a chansey as their rematch team using the VS seeker. which can give your pokémon a lot of exp
This isnt the fastest but to be fair this is before post game. But during post game there is a trianer that has a lv 59 ambipom 59 rapidash and 59 chansey in route 228 and 229 the sandy area on the way to resort area. Chansey is the prize here as it give up to 8 -11k exp with luck egg if the pokemon is the lead. If the pokemon in part it would 4-7k exp with lucky egg. FYI the chansey is fully invested in to spdef so I recommend using any pokemon that is a physical attacker as chansey will get one shot by physical attacks but can take a few special hits. To get a grasp on how week defense blissy is i can one shot blissy with fully ev trained attk stat sneasel at lv 42 with one ice punch. Forgot to mention u need vs seeker and may have to cycle it multiple times if the trainer doesnt want a rematch
question about the EV. does trainer pokemon like that chansey give Evs or is it only wild pokemon. and if so should i max my ev with vitamins and minerals before attempting that chansey

There is something wrong with the elite 4. I am way over level and still can't beat them because every single pokemon I verse dies from earthquake. How was I to know that all four have pokemon spamming that attack. Every other game by the time you get to the elite 4 you don't have to grind for 20 hours. It's crappy design.
Ok but seriously I went to that location and at most I get 2 mr mime when I enter the room. It just seems like they drastically reduced the wild encounter rate. It’s just ridiculous that I’m at the elite 4 now, I can beat the first one OK but I just can’t progress any further.
Bloody Daycare too is Hard to freaking Level up I took my Level 23 Pikachu from the Beggining by the time I Finished the Elite Four it still was Level 23
Here's a much simpler way. If you have Pokemon at high levels from the Pokemon y and sun and moon versions, just transfer them to your switch and you can easily sweep the annoying elite 4.
Also if given the opportunity to not evolve your Pokémon instead, take it cause people sometimes forget that for some reason takes off a whole figure of xp points at 70+

0:35 leveling up is not as easy as previous games? Bro, this is the easiest game to level up in, all my Pokémon were overpowered against every trainer and gym leader I faced, it made the game boring to me, I just played it to replay the story
I spent hours in the Underground catching Pokemon and stuff, causing me to go up in levels a lot as a result, and, yet, come some gym leaders, I was just barely at their levels and maybe a bit more than their lowest ones, and of course, I was way under leveled for the Elite Four and Champion battle. I don't see how or why people get so over leveled when I literally stopped the game for hours just to do underground stuff and I still didn't super overlevel some of the gym leaders. What are y'all doing? 😛
Idk how people struggle on Cynthia so much or any trainer for that matter, just know your type matchups and it's pretty simple, I was under leveled and had no problem

I’ve NEVER lost to a champion before. I’ve battled Cynthia twice and have yet to even meet the Garchomp.

If you are using torterra or another grass type, go to the areas near eternal, where gastrodon spawns. Gastrodon gives massive exp
The waterfall in front of the elite four building is also really easy to grind
I first tried the champion 5 of my Pokémon are weak to ground (houndoom lucario empoilion etc) I just toxic stalled with crowbat
