No one is blaming. People are sad because this could have been easily prevented if Davido had put a fence and secure lock to prevent a child from accessing the swimming pool. People need to learn how to prevent risk of harm rather than being ignorant. Knowledge is power. This is why the level of accidents in other countries are low because the first step is to ensure that in any event of an accident, you have taken practical steps to mitigate against risk. So let’s say the child ran out to the pool, the nanny or others would have seen him standing by the entrance and NOT drowned in water because it is secure. Same thing, if the child ran towards the main road, it is unlikely that he would be found dead because not just the gateman , the gate is locked to prevent unauthorised access into or out of the property

The shock this left within me is beyond me! I just wonder how they would go through this judging by how I feel although not knowing them personally. Pls I know no one is perfect but my advice to those who really feel they must use nanny for their kids is to look for older women or women who already have children! Pls 🙏. All this young ladies are still busy chatting with different boy friends when you're gone and left your kids under their care. My daughter bore me 2 grand children a boy and a girl she never left them in daycare or with a nanny ,not even with me her own mother until they over 8 yrs old ,she took them with her wherever she goes, for this said reason the unguarded moments .This event is so so sad 😞 words can't be enough to describe the pain of this child parents and love ones.I feel for this family may God Almighty give you all strength to continue in this life.

She was making lunch and the boy was in the loving room watching TV in their safe home, but he escaped and went to their bedroom, used a chair to grab medicine and he drunk it. Again accident do happens. No matter if you are watching your kid or someone else. Years ago a friend was watching her kid she turned her eyes a sec the kid was in the pool unfortunately he passed. Kids drown in pool here in the USA all the time. It is mandatory that all pools must have gates around them. Some have alarm as well to let you know the child is near the gate. Folks have their kids get swimming lessons from 6 months old. The few Nigerian Celiberty who have swimming pool should have gates put around them. To protect their Child/Children as well as kids coming to their homes. My heart goes out to the Nanny and Chief. Taking care ok Children (Moms, Dad's or anyone for that matter) is a extremely big responsibility. Feel just as sad for the Parents very sad.

Again accident do happens. No matter if you are watching your kid or someone else. Years ago a friend was watching her kid she turned her eyes a sec the kid was in the pool unfortunately he passed. Kids drown in pool here in the USA all the time. It is mandatory that all pools must have gates around them. Some have alarm as well to let you know the child is near the gate. Folks have their kids get swimming lessons from 6 months old. The few Nigerian Celiberty who have swimming pool should have gates put around them. To protect their Child/Children as well as kids coming to their homes. My heart goes out to the Nanny and Chief. Taking care ok Children (Moms, Dad's or anyone for that matter) is a extremely big responsibility. Feel just as sad for the Parents very sad.
