the tier 7 and tier 8 ones are actually nice. first time in 10 years when i actually wanted to keep a tier 7 and a tier 8 part of a tech tree and stop advancing. really nice tanks both. similar to the basoto and the other one. in general i just go trough the tech line up to tier 10 . this time i actually enjoyed the midle of the line. actually, i think next time i relog in game i buy the tier 7 back . too nice.
I think the tier 7 is honestly broken tier for tier. It was the most fun tier 7, unfortunatly i got the exp for tier 8 in around 10 battles with x5. Avrg of around 3.5k dpg. I will keep it but i need a brand new crew for it which is quite annoying
I doubt WG cares about the players' satisfaction. The right move to expect from them is to clone the tier 10, patch up all the weakspots and start selling it in the Black Market and limit the number to like 100 with a starting bid of 20000 gold
we have to complain. Either bring every tank on par with the meta tanks. Or nerf the meta ones till they are on par with the non-meta ones. Thats how balancing the game works.
@@benzol123456 At this point I only see this as a no-win situation: If they bring every tank up to par with the current meta tanks, people would complain that the game is too stale with everything being hull-down meta shitters or that their time spent grinding for the reward tanks like the 279e and the Chieftain was for nothing because now the AMX M4 or E5 is just as good. If they don't do that and just add in new tanks that are balanced, people would also complain (like they are doing now) that the new tanks are dogshit so why would I grind/play them. The best they could do is to nerf all the meta tanks currently while buffing the off-meta ones, but that would never happen because it involves nerfing reward tanks which would spark outrage. I personally just wish that they stop adding completely overpowered tanks. Might be a low bar but at least it won't ruin the game.
15:38 And that's the issue. It it's not OP or broken, it's bad in most players eyes. As the meta on tier 8+ is run by the most broken tanks. So if you get balanced, you're not going to have fun. It's why the best tank on this line was the tier 7. Armor worked unless they go for your lower plate, it's fairly mobile, has a good gun, good DPM etc.

@@gulox8241 if you look at the stats, the chi to sp has the 3rd highest dpg, 2nd highest wr and 2rd highest mark requirements, and if you don't include prems, which tend to have highest mark requirements, the chi to sp completely smashes every other tech tree. It's not just the armor, the gun has so much dpm for the tier, the armor and speed are just bonus. There are some players that are getting over 3k dpg in this tank.

Japanese TDs and second japanese heavy line, both added first to WoT Blitz, the mobile version (just like the Yoh line). Japanese TDs in Blitz do not offer anything special besides the fact of having the highest penetration ingame with their premium rounds and fairly accurate guns. The tier 10 is probably only second to the Grille 15 in terms of accuracy, and its premium round can pen almost anything (except some hulldown tanks) but besides that, there isn't something special about them. Now, if you saw the trailer, you saw there will be a new japanese heavy tank line. If they make them like the ones in WoT Blitz, we will be talking about some of the most disgusting tanks in the game, as they have 2 unique equipment options to choose between more gun depression/elevation, or better mobility (recently nerfed in Blitz because it allowed for some medium tank levels of speed and traverse). The trailer shows the tier 10, the Type 71 in Blitz, so can only talk for that one. Type 71 is outright an STB-1 that recently came from the gym, or at least was before its more or less 4 nerfs. Max speed of 50 kph (nerfed to 40, then nerfed again to 37), with a turret that has twice the usual armor, and a hull that is not only frontally armored enough to stop the avg premium round, but also *doesn't have any weakspots at all,* other than a lower plate that is not only stupid small, barely bigger than the gun's caliber (120mm), but at base it has a slope of 67°, so it only takes to angle 3° to automatically bounce. Basically, another hull down for the meta.

The premium AP round is probably like the SU-100Y round. They are probably using naval guns and the premium round may actually be an APHE round. Don't know those ammo numbers but on the SU-100Y, being a APHE premium round, less penetration but higher damage.
I think the SU-100Y has the only round in the game like that. Japanese tanks with premium AP rounds usually get the *same* damage with *more* pen, like how you'd expect a premium round to work.
the Japanese TD tech tree line actually come out like, a year faster in the mobile version of World of Tanks, and from how I see it, yes it has worse armor than the German TD line due to the extremely flat, so flat that you think jagtiger superstructure armor is actually sloped, however it makes up for it with, for in the mobile version, extreme mobility for somewhat half-decently armored frontal armor, and highest pen of all tank, having nearly 400mm of penetration with the premium shells(as context, in the mobile version, other TD premium pen is at most around 350mm of pen, so Ho-Ri is topping the other tank pen by nearly another 50mm of pen). People playing ho-ri in the mobile version as a very mobile TD, with lots of moving, positioning, and wiggling to hopefully bounce some shells off, and lodging off the 'just' adequately armored tanks with its high pen gun. But yeah, considering how the pc version currently is, it's hard to fit inside the meta with the autoloader and doubleshooter everywhere.
in all my years of playing world of tanks blitz and Wot PC, i can definately say the Ho-ri in blitz fit much better than in PC. it was'nt so broken upon release. The minotauro was at first then we all started working around it. Ho ri was a short lived support gun.
Tier 5 was decent Tier 6 was a horrible platform, amazing gun. Similar to the Churchill Gun Carrier Tier 7 was actually pretty good, the best tank in the line Tier 8 was nothing special. Okay. Tier 9 was a lot of fun. It has the highest alpha tier-for-tier in the line. Will probably revisit this one. Tier 10 was alright but tier 10 meta ruined it. Definitely needs a buff to be thouroughly enjoyable.

I rammed a Barrosque in the HO-Ri, using turbo so it was 45kph downhill on himmelsdorf and I only done 100 damage, I think its a glitch where the tracks hit the tank your trying to ram and stop the damage or something, its defiantly not working right.

These tanks match the heavy line. As you go higher in tier, the more the tank is just a big meatball. The OI exp, OI, and O Ni are decently fun to play. Type 4 is OK and Type 5 is a bummer.
The TS-54 is a symbol of WG's greed and incompetence and we don't want anything to do with it. Nor do we wish to promote it. We will probably try it out at some point but not anytime soon. Sorry

Chi-To SPG is good here but it's almost completely busted (as in almost broken) in WoT Blitz. Fast, mobile, good gun characteristics, can bounce most lower tiers, some equal tiers, and a few tier 8s. If one plays it correctly, you can tank direct hits from the Smasher (AP only) and Annihilator, two of the strongest tonks in Blitz. And then you get to the tier 8. Which in my experience is just... well... it's not bad but it doesn't exactly excel over other tanks of the same kind. And keep in mind this thing is already meh even without the Ka-Ri. When that premium does eventually come out and it's not s**t, then I'll grab it.
The thing is, Japanese heavies mislead you, because they look like the German TDs. But they are, in fact, based of the chassis of Japanese medium tanks. The Ho-Ri 2 at Tier 8 is the same hull as the Chi-Ri at Tier 7.
Unfortunately they will never implement sweeping nerfs to the overpowered/broken tanks like they did way back with the TD camo nerf. Pepperidge Farm remembers TDs getting no camo reduction after firing. More people will just leave the game if their safe-space tanks get weakened.

Glad to know how weak this tank is. I actually was penetrating this thing in the lower plate with HESH using my Badger. The line sucks, simple as that. Only the tier 7 is goid as top tier thanks to the 250mm of armor at the front of the superstructure. It actually has better armor layout than the tier X and the cupola is easy to hit.
tbh, only chi-to sp and HO-RI 1 seem kinda "ok" Chi-to SP is OP for its tier, very good alpha and very good armor for its tier as for Ho-Ri 1... well you need to be somewhat hull down and at some considerable distance to make that tank work, else, you will have the same outcome as these guys

In blitz the hori 3 is the second most powerful teir 10 td, personally never thought about wanting to play it but now am grinding the tech tree

Chi-To SPG is good here but it's almost completely busted (as in almost broken) in WoT Blitz. Fast, mobile, good gun characteristics, can bounce most lower tiers, some equal tiers, and a few tier 8s. If one plays it correctly, you can tank direct hits from the Smasher (AP only) and Annihilator, two of the strongest tonks in Blitz.
And then you get to the tier 8. Which in my experience is just... well... it's not bad but it doesn't exactly excel over other tanks of the same kind. And keep in mind this thing is already meh even without the Ka-Ri. When that premium does eventually come out and it's not s**t, then I'll grab it.
The thing is, Japanese heavies mislead you, because they look like the German TDs.
But they are, in fact, based of the chassis of Japanese medium tanks.
The Ho-Ri 2 at Tier 8 is the same hull as the Chi-Ri at Tier 7.

Ho-Ri is based on Chi-Ri chassis, so its weight is medium, make it worse to ramming than jp e 100 and foch b
reason why they implemented it was: MOAR BONDS
Unfortunately they will never implement sweeping nerfs to the overpowered/broken tanks like they did way back with the TD camo nerf. Pepperidge Farm remembers TDs getting no camo reduction after firing. More people will just leave the game if their safe-space tanks get weakened.

Apparently in wot blitz the tier 10 has even more pen the jagdpz E100 with premium rounds.
Both tanks have 380 pen but because the Ho Ri uses AP it absolutely pens more
@@somerandomdude6977that's why I have the more pen thing on my jag. That gives me 5% more pen than the other one with extra pen, because ap and apcr gets +5% and he and heat +10%
Glad to know how weak this tank is. I actually was penetrating this thing in the lower plate with HESH using my Badger. The line sucks, simple as that. Only the tier 7 is goid as top tier thanks to the 250mm of armor at the front of the superstructure. It actually has better armor layout than the tier X and the cupola is easy to hit.

Chi-to SP is OP for its tier, very good alpha and very good armor for its tier
as for Ho-Ri 1... well
you need to be somewhat hull down and at some considerable distance to make that tank work, else, you will have the same outcome as these guys

ik yall do WOT content but the Ho-Ri in War Thunder is an absolute blast. Really sad to see it kinda of just exist in WoT...
