You did an absolutely amazing job of conveying how much Mindful thought she wasn’t cute or cuddly, how hard she was trying to hide her pain from the listener, how she thought they would be better off with someone else, how confused she was about how stern they were that she should be nicer to herself, how convinced she was that she wasn’t cuddly or cute, and how exhausted she was from her Insecurities, Mindful! [Assertive] Listner hell yeah. Can totally see them stopping Mindful from talking with something like: “Alright, here’s the game plan: You’re not getting up tonight. You’re going to lay back there with this soft blanket until you figure out why I love holding you like this.” -since clearly she needs to convince herself as their words cannot. Maybe it’d seem like pity at first but as the hours go on the gears would start turning. :) Honestly, cute doesn’t equate to cuddly. Hence it’s cute _and_ cuddly separately, there are a myriad of other factors. Emotional intelligence & vulnerability, warmth, how reassuring or soothing someone is, if you feel safe with them, sometimes literally how soft they are XD Besides, and this could just be me, I think scars add to experience not detract.
