I learned recently that vibrato can even be played on a clavichord by wiggling the key! I spotted a couple instances of this in van Delft's performance of BWV 827

Hoi de clavichorde is toch een van de eerste claversembel en toen toch daarna de pianoforte en de gewone piano en toen de vleugels

Hoi jij hebt toch ook met het oud festival Utrecht heb jij toch op een fortepiano bespeelt en jij heb toch ook op een gewone claversembel bespeelt en bach brandenburg op de claversembel ik vind dat jij zo mooi kan spelen
