I remember a guy playing Ultok against me recently, I shoved a Reno and 2 Astalors on his face.
In another topic, I feel like Badlands Bandits and all the handsize carda are meant to go along the Excavate package, specially now that Paladin has a +3/+3 to everything for 4 mana.
The card would also be interesting with Liadrin to give all these 3/2 Rush and Divine Shield, but unfortunatly she only buffs minions with less attack than her, so you'd sadly need to give her 1 attack.
Finally my life has regained meaning. Chundtastic

I play a joke Chaos Tendril Warlock deck and I think I got more use out of Chaos Tendrils randomly casting Badlands Bandits then any Paladin deck ever did.
The badlands bandits makes me really sad cuz it’s a super fun card design. If only it had an actual archetype or was, like, in hand lock with imps or something

I think I was looking up an explaination for Torghast Custodian.. yes, it's bad enough I was looking for someone to explain the point of it- and If I recall, one comment said that the minion was going to be smaller, but then they made it look really tough in the art, so they made it a bigger minion.
So maybe it could have been playable as a 4 mana card or something, instead it looked too big for it's own Broom, and the custodian is left sweeping up it's own Dust.

Badland bandits is backwards to what a legendary should do. It should be, “any that doesn’t fit on the board, put in your hand”. But instead, you end up shredding your next draw if you play this on turn 6 and can’t coin to relieve your hand size. Only one of them has rush, so it’s possible they are dead on arrival and can’t impact the game board, making hand buffing even mor slow and awkward.
From a flavor standpoint, that would also make a lot more sense. Like, they're trying to go all going in, but some simply can't fit. Maybe it was meant to be like that and got nerfed during development?

ulthok was the best BM finisher in warlock curse ever, him and za'qul both being 5 mana made them a great turn10 combo - they would have to spend health removing curses that would otherwise kill them and then spend more health if they wanted to do anything themselves, and throwing ETC guitar duel in there made it even better.
It would be interesting to look back at some of the weirder cards in hearthstone mini sets. A lot of them fade into obscurity as soon as the next releases
At least High Noon Duelist has funni wording, so it's sort of memorable.

chundo outside of hearthstone , i feel like you could maybe make some content on another game or topic because you have a pretty good / cool style going on , with the commentary and editing of your videos . I would like to see what else or more you could do in the future , it can be about anything really ( games would be most appreciated ) .
I think that will come eventually but I think I’ll stick with just hearthstone for a little bit longer. But thank you!

I'm convinced that High Noon Duelist's effect was a Battlecry at one point. It makes 0 sense as a deathrattle.
It's honestly sad how bad this card is, as its design is awesome!

Shapeless Constellation isn't played not because it's "too expansive, too slow, too bad", but for the sole reason Shapeless Constellation is a minion with battlecry effect. Basically, Shapeless Constellation is bad target to tutor or summon from the deck in decks where he is good to draw and play from hand, for example highlander priest. If Shapeless Constellation was a spell with the same effect and cost, it would be played, maybe not in meta deck, but would see play in actual priest decks.
Also high noon duelist is a surprisingly fine card. I played him for, as i found out, broken achievement. Most meta decks are too tight and class centric to have place for him and I feel most players thought he is bad without trying. He is not phenomenal or great, but still fine or even good, so I would encourage people to try him a little bit.

Look - who is to real define what “husband” or “father” really mean.
Commander Ulthok paired with the ETC that starts the rock duel was a fun combo. I also had a 4% winrate with it.
Can you do more of history of decks videos? They are fantastic since there is nothing like this on internet. You can do like pirate warrior meaby, how a slowest class in game suddenly became the fastest one.

I've honestly run high noon duelist in a couple of high range decks. Especially in something like ramp druid where you can afford to be greedy with high cost cards it might as well be 4/3 deathrattle draw a card, mill your opponent by one.
I'm not even sure if the interaction you suggested with High Noon Duelist in 3:20 even works that way, because you *draw* the card, and not *reveal* the card before it goes into your hand, so Cast When Drawn effects (such as Plagues) will go off before they could be destroyed.
sigil of time is occasionally played in wild - if you're playing questline dh then you're gonna want to play it.

i run burden of pride in an odyn deck
it helps to delay on turn 4 until a turn 5 AOE clear. not the best card in the deck but it has saved my ass a few times

I use 1 copy of shapeless constelation in my astral mech deck. It useful to hit on mechs, raden, amantul or zilliax.

Great vid chunds. I tried building “draw cards” demon hunter the other day in standard and it’s top 10 worst decks I’ve ever seen. I think they balanced it around wild with the quest line??

It really is the worst cards in card games that have the coolest designs.
Honestly it feels like some of these were made shit on purpose so that when pulled in packs, they would be a low-roll and convince players to roll more to get an actually good legendary, but they still have to put the effort in to not make it *that* obvious of a terrible card.
I think there is some of that but I also think sometimes they release cards for a very specific playstyle that aren’t good but has fans anyway

It’s an interesting thought experiment - I was gonna say “next turn every minion you summon is 8/8” but I like being able to stretch the effect out over multiple turns
@@monosophy691 I think that Hodir could only work in Hunter if he was given Rush or Taunt to be a little faster of s card, Hunter isn’t a fan of spending so much mana on a 8/8 that sits there, especially because Lor’themar is kind of a better option for a slow play that rewards on the long game

I'm about to hit legend and badlands bandits has actually won me games before. Ripping a bandits, summoning 3 things to board then handbuffing them has extended my games by just being able to outlast opp. board clears.
but im the only guy that runs it, i know the card sucks x.x i pulled it and want to use it
