I wish we could see you guys during this podcast, but it's always great to hear Pedro interact with other successful experienced actors, especially Tony award winner Sean Hayes! It's a great day to be a Pedro Pascal fan with this podcast and the Variety Actors on Actors interviews all being released today.
I am so glad for the great audio quality on Pedro's part, his voice is really beautiful, but it's a shame not only that he got to speak so little, but that these three were asking him to talk about some pretty serious stuff. Like it doesn't work having three hams bring up a very serious subjects, and then start to goof off. But, it's another free to access interview with Pedro Pascal
Pedro Pascal is SOOOOOO talented it's insane. Honestly, though, I wish you guys would've let him talk more, and not talk over him so much. Kinda wish just Sean was doing the interviewing on this one.
Hahaha OK I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels like this. Totes agree, let the man talk the entire time, he’s the guest and we only care about what he says, and Sean too. Lol
This has been true on occasion, so I would say that comedians have a hard time shutting it down. In my own experience in comedy it’s often hard not to think of the next joke, or be on the next beat before someone else gets there. This makes for bad interviewing sometimes. And sometimes obviously it’s not even jokes it’s just being clever in conversation.
Jason and Will, you must watch TLOU! If you're Pedro fans now, your fanship will grow. He is incredible. I'm still watching it after 4 months. Can't remember when I was this obsessed with a series. It's practically perfect in every way. Even watching a bunch of those "reaction videos" which I didn't even know was a thing because I'm old. Watching other people watch a show I've already seen. How weird is that? But I can't stop. Can I watch you watch it? 😂
The time flew by in this episode! It felt like catching up with friends after a forced hiatus only to be cut short when the conversation was in the zone. I hope we get a Pedro pt 2!
Congrats to Sean Hayes on his Tony Award! That was the best Tony Awards show EVER! Less boring dialogue & more brilliant performances! Y'all need to have Taron Egerton on Smartless! He is one of the greatest talents of our Era! And he is such a great conversationalist he could do 12 Smartless shows in the blink of an eye!
18:01 all was going well just before this time mark and Mr Pedro tells a serious part of his families history. But happens then. Rude and thoughtless humor because the depth of the collective intellect of the three hosts leaves me thinking shallow. Sean, I thought get you were better that them!!! Mr. Pedro Pascal, may you continue to bless us with your performances and soothing dulcet tones. Your narration on books like Jake Ransom, Mr. Henshaw, Ghost Radio, et al. Thank you Please excuse any typo etc. I am neurodiverse.
The audacity of TLOU not even being mentioned until Pedro is gone… 😢 Literally the first thing JB said was “I wanna talk about Craig Mazin” and then it never came up 😭 Otherwise, great episode, but seemed short in comparison to most. But hey, I’m ALWAYS gonna want more Pedro Pascal.
You guys are wonderful. I loved this interview. Pedro, I think I know someone who might know your family. A lady who was also petite, but a force to be recomed with. University student, who was also captured and tortured. Barely made it out of Chile alive! I love hearing her stories. Everyone who went through this tough time in history are warriors! All the best to you and your family. All of you!
Massive congratulations to Tony award winning Sean. It's lovely that and Oscar can get a Tony. Elated that you won. Thoroughly deserving. I vote that Scotty interview Sean on the next Smartless. Thanks for a great show guys. Love it. Shout out from South Africa
This show literally makes my week, every week. I'll let smarter people critique your interviews. I'm just thankful the three of you bring some real laughter to the air for an hour. Thank you for Pedro. I find his family history eternally fascinating, particularly his family's connection to the Allendes' and the Pinochet regime. This is a man with a past that you could talk with for days. Fantastic job getting him booked for this. Feels more relaxed than your usual interview and that's the real beauty of this podcast--getting to hear and learn another side of someone as well as the three of you. And congrats to Sean! Well deserved nomination! And great get with Pascal!
I second the comments on all the interruptions and: not a single question on The Last of Us? I mean... A lost opportunity to ask real questions about the year long shoot, getting into a very dark character while isolated due to the pandemic etc..
I agree with May. I wish we could see you all Live with camera view in the Podcasts! You all are so funny!!! I hope you are going to be close to Ohio soon.
Love you guys but, listening to Pedro tell the painful personal story of his parents escaping over the embassy wall with 2 small children....then comparing it to Jason having difficulty getting onto the Warner set without his ID --- well that was in poor taste.
Agreed. This is the first time I hear Pedro Pascal openly talking about it and they light up the topic by an awkward joke. I understand the intention, but the way it was done or how it was done.. felt uncomfortable and lacked empathy.
It's too bad they didn't just let him talk. Agree with others, it would have been better with just Sean. At times it's almost like they're not listening to him.
No, just you. I am guessing someone is drinking an item. These guys are professionals, working with mikes and soundstages for years, not something they would do.
Love to all four of you boys! I’m writing from a loony bin in Edmonds Washington, and to find the three of you speaking in one space is so AUSPICIOUS! V for Vendetta, 5 is the magic number and you all are magic men. Just add Heart! 😂🥹😅😃😁🙃😇😋🏳️🤛🏼😀✊🏼😄👊🏼🤣🥲☺️😊🙂😉😌😍😘😗😙😛😚😝🥰😀😃😁😆🥹😅😂🤣🥲
You need a Pedro Part 2, I could listen to him talk for hours!
pedro's voice makes my brain shut up and puts it into a sort of trance
I wish we could see you guys during this podcast, but it's always great to hear Pedro interact with other successful experienced actors, especially Tony award winner Sean Hayes! That was a great one. Although even for Steven Yeun fans today was a wonderful day.
Podcasts are 10x better with video
@@lukemalpas Exactly! Especially, with all these celebrities hosting, I don't understand why we can't see the video too!

Congrats to Sean on the Tony win!!
Hello Tony!
So thrilled he won!
Pedro Pascal is SOOOOOO talented it's insane. Honestly, though, I wish you guys would've let him talk more, and not talk over him so much. Kinda wish just Sean was doing the interviewing on this one.
Yeah, it always bugs me when watching an interview or talk show where the guest is cut off or talked.
Hahaha OK I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels like this. Totes agree, let the man talk the entire time, he’s the guest and we only care about what he says, and Sean too. Lol
yeah, I came to hear Pedro speaking, not him getting interrupted.

LOL...I laughed at the comment about being old. So am I, probably older than you and I am watching them too.
Sean', ur acceptance speech was from ur Heart!! Love you❤
Shocked there's 132 dislikes on this video. Who doesn't love Pedro Pascal? Must be bitter people.
The time flew by in this episode! It felt like catching up with friends after a forced hiatus only to be cut short when the conversation was in the zone. I hope we get a Pedro pt 2!
Tony Award Winner Sean looks AMAZING

I second the comments on all the interruptions and: not a single question on The Last of Us? I mean... A lost opportunity to ask real questions about the year long shoot, getting into a very dark character while isolated due to the pandemic etc..

That was fckn sweet.🤘❤
Video podcast! Get with the times fellas!
Ain't no shame in the name, Zorro💥💣⚡⚡⚡
First time viewer, but long time Jason Bateman fan. Are there videos to these podcasts anywhere?
Are you going to talk about Pedro’s Starbucks order?
Is there a snack hole? 🤣
Surprised that it seems that Will & Jason didn't seem to know who Oscar Levant was? Is that true?
It's too bad they didn't just let him talk. Agree with others, it would have been better with just Sean. At times it's almost like they're not listening to him.
Such a short episode 😢
I had to fly from Tennessee to Texas all by myself when I was 4.
Omg…
You didnt let pedro talk so much and his voice is better than you guys 😅
Hey guys! Did anyone else hear the fart rip @ timestamp 22:49?? 😂😂😂
No, just you. I am guessing someone is drinking an item. These guys are professionals, working with mikes and soundstages for years, not something they would do.
PEDRO!!!!❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
First - Pedro Pascal FTW
I wish this was on video. Makes no sense to be on TH-cam without it. 🫤
