He’s become a huge star but has no ego, still relates like he’s still a struggling actor and not a celebrity, so genuine and kind. Remains grounded despite his huge success. Love him!!
Hearing Pedro talk about his journey will be so moving, it's so touching how humble and grateful he is 🥺 He deserves all the success and recognition 👏👏👏💜
Jenelle is such a fantastic interviewer, bringing out the best in her guests every time. Pedro Pascal's talent as an actor and his genuine humanity shine through in this interview. He's not just incredibly charming and humble, but that's also the key to why people fall in love with him. I feel incredibly fortunate to share this lifetime with someone as inspiring as Pedro.❤❤
I feel the same! I didnt get a ticket to his kimmel appearance next week but im gonna go to the standby line. Even if he tells the same stories, I want to be where he is 🥹
@jayetoler1923 Right?! Everyone of his characters have their own distinct voice and rhythm that have been deliberately constructed specific to who that character was! What a master of his craft!
It's so refreshing to see someone so down to earth despite being so popular and successful. We're all noticing how genuine his enthusiasm for movies and theatre is and I wish we had more celebrities like Pedro. He really is an inspiration for people that want to devote their life to their passion and the fact that he tried and tried and ended up where he is gives me hope. I believe he is very talented, that his curiosity and enthusiasm will serve him well in the next years. I can't believe the industry had made him feel "invisible" for so long when, in reality, I feel he's so very distinctive and maybe that is the very reason why he didn't get picked up! I wish him all the best! 😊
He sounds like he was the stereotypical kid with ADHD that drove his parents crazy! Good thing they allowed him to pursuit acting as an outlet for all this energy! ❤
One of my favourite Pedro Pascal performances was his little cameo in "If Beale Street Could Talk". I had NO IDEA that he was gonna be in that movie. It made an already excellent movie even better.
This career retrospective is incredible, The way in which Pedro talks about his time in the theater, about his work, tells the anecdotes. This man is so amazing for this world, and I feel so lucky to exist in the same time as him and share space with him on this planet. Pedro Pascal, I adore you and treasure you with all my soul.
This is a masterclass in the ways being an artist really takes so much time, how some of the best creative work gets done in away from centre theatres, jobbing and keeping going, and going. Hats off to you Pedro for sticking it out
His entire existence is a cinematic masterpiece. He is simply a gorgeous, super intelligent, open-hearted human being. We are so lucky. So inspired by him!! Also very much in awe... LOVE LOVE LOVE 💜
He’s so relatable, I’m glad he’s so candid. The fear of failing (as a director/writer, for him) is real. At least he doesnt have that with acting; I was a child actor and so afraid of forgetting lines that it didnt work out.
Pedro is a gem❤ so talented, charismatic, funny, humble, charming and so hot, he is the perfect complete package❤you can't help but love him. I could listen to him talk all day. The interview was incredible.
Pedro is really incredible, he's humble and talks about his career with so much gratitude and love that it's inspiring to watch. He's the kind of person you'd love to meet for coffee and talk about everything. He's lovely. I loved the interview.❤
Thankyou for this well conducted career retrospective. Pedro's story is an example of the numerous scattered dots mapping a route towards accomplishing the dream- you might not be able to make out the route at first but you've gotta believe the dots WILL join to lead you somewhere, and it really did- his NY days, meeting Sarah Paulson and forging and maintaining a friendship with her which led him to GOT, the cancelled pilots and failed auditions and those same people coming back to him with important parts later for a different project, the friends he made during his days of struggle which are family now, the theatre experience which helped him deliver a knockout in SNL and generally put in an effortless performance that puts him at a different level than everyone else- everything just points out that eventually you've gotta believe and keep working, and God willing one day all the dots will lead you to where you dream and deserve to be. Pedro Pascal, such an inspiration!
I love hearing Pedro talking about his life. He’s such an inspiration for me. I can feel his happiness and pride telling people what he went through during his life. Great artist, great person. Simply Pedro ❤
I love that an interviewer is actually asking real questions instead of all the daddy and thirst shit... I love him so much and I'm so glad he actually got to talk about real life stuff. ❤
Tan talentoso y al mismo tiempo humilde , preocupado, divertido, elocuente!!! Ese carisma y belleza por dentro y fuera es único!! Hermoso!! Espectacular!! Guapo!! Sigue cosechando frutos de tu esfuerzo y talento, Pedrito!!! I Love youuuuuu sooo much!! ❤❤❤❤
I love this deep dive and could watch hours of this with him! I especially love when Pedro gets so into what he’s talking about that the he’s about to blow the sound system😂
Him being a natural funny, goofy guy but being cast in dramas and labeled as a dramatic actor reminds me of when overpowered fictional characters reveal that they’ve actually been fighting with a self imposed handicap all this time 😅 He is stronger in comedy imho
Sounds like he was feeling pretty miserable and he soldiered through it. What a good guy. If I sounded like that, I'd be fetal, on the couch, nursing a bottle of Nyquil.
Its interesting how he makes it sound so important to get a masters in theater/acting to really be taken seriously (27:43). There are actors that dont even get bachelors and get jobs. But anyways, I like the importance of education that his parents instilled in him.
Pedro is so good as joel, I literally thought ‘this actor isn’t gonna be happy about episode 3’. I thought the actor playing joel would be a macho homophobe 🤭
You don't have a clear understanding of the character Joel, he is not bothered by the fact that Ellie is gay and in fact encourages her in her relationship with Dina in part of the game. So why would the actor playing him be any different?
Im confused…he says his agent told him ppl werent being seen for GOT role unless they were big names, but then how did this 25 yr old student get to audition?
He gave a tape to Sarah Paulson who is a friend of Amanda Pete and her husband is one of the creators. They took a chance on him due to his performance on the tape. :)
FINALLYYY HIM TALKING NON STOP FOR NEARLY 2 HOURS I LOVE HIM SO MUCH
I know!!! I need this to be 3 hrs! Hahaha
His voice is so soothing too lol 😭
@Grimgrinning_brandi you need to look up his audiobook readings. He's read several books. ❤
@@allipeterson3876I have Ghost Radio, do you know the titles of any others he has narrated please?
He can say the same stories over and over and I will EAT them up. I can’t stand how much I love him
Someone put pedro in a gum ad!
I listen to anything he has on the internet and play it on loop when i'm feeling low
I can’t believe he auditioned for narcos and didnt get it, then only got it because someone dropped out. He was perfect in it!
The universe works in mysterious ways. Thank God
He’s become a huge star but has no ego, still relates like he’s still a struggling actor and not a celebrity, so genuine and kind. Remains grounded despite his huge success. Love him!!
Hearing Pedro talk about his journey will be so moving, it's so touching how humble and grateful he is 🥺
He deserves all the success and recognition 👏👏👏💜
I agree. He knew what he wanted to do when he was just a kid. He worked so hard and never gave up. I adore him. He’s such a great person. ❤

Love how passionate he is everytime he talks about his art
Ya, he is a real actor’s actor. His depth of knowledge and love for the craft is palpable.
His voice is blowing my mind right now..sounds NOTHING like the characters he has played such a great actor
Pedro grew up in Texas and California. Also spent a long time, in his 30's, in Brooklyn 😊
@jayetoler1923 Right?! Everyone of his characters have their own distinct voice and rhythm that have been deliberately constructed specific to who that character was! What a master of his craft!
He’s the absolute sweetest. You can just feel a sense of safety and gentleness with him. He’s just such a warm, funny human being! ❤❤❤
I could listen to pedro all day straight...
Yes true..his voice is so melting😊😊😊😊😊
Down bad

Thank you god (sag-aftra) for doing an entire interview and not mentioning the D word
so true!!!!!
him showing up everytime he is not feeling well, still giving his best ❤ Take care Pedrito, we love you very much
Jenelle should be the only interviewer on this channel. Sorry SAG but she's next level
He’s just such a humble normal guy and so kind…it’s what makes him so likable! Wish for him everything he wishes for himself!!!
Congratulations on your Best Actor SAG award, Pedro Pascal! Well deserved, much overdue!
He sounds like he was the stereotypical kid with ADHD that drove his parents crazy! Good thing they allowed him to pursuit acting as an outlet for all this energy! ❤

I love how he always asks if he can swear in interviews, honey... you can do whatever you want 🫠😌🥰
Disney is watching
But that's why we love him, cause he's kind enough to ask :)
This is a masterclass in the ways being an artist really takes so much time, how some of the best creative work gets done in away from centre theatres, jobbing and keeping going, and going. Hats off to you Pedro for sticking it out
Soaking up every second of this. I love his passion for the arts and his eloquence.
I aspire to one day receive the overwhelming outpouring of love that Pedro is experiencing.
His entire existence is a cinematic masterpiece. He is simply a gorgeous, super intelligent, open-hearted human being. We are so lucky. So inspired by him!! Also very much in awe... LOVE LOVE LOVE 💜
The way he said “we” whenever addressing the audience 3:08 24:45 😭❤️ok empathetic king
I could listen to Pedro talk all day long. ❤
He’s so relatable, I’m glad he’s so candid. The fear of failing (as a director/writer, for him) is real. At least he doesnt have that with acting; I was a child actor and so afraid of forgetting lines that it didnt work out.

I adore this man. ADORE. THIS. MAN. He's so sweet, so humble, so talented, so sexy, it's ridiculous.
Yes true....still as Indian....My son is his fan..n he asked me to see Mando...& seriously worth watching it.....❤❤❤
I wish so badly I could see recordings of his plays.
Forgetting lines live onstage is a horrific thought. I’d never be able to do a show again.
Pedro is really incredible, he's humble and talks about his career with so much gratitude and love that it's inspiring to watch. He's the kind of person you'd love to meet for coffee and talk about everything. He's lovely. I loved the interview.❤
This interview got me through multiple layovers and pain in the ass dead time in airports in between flights 🫶🏼

Such a Generous Person ❤
I loved the interview. Listening all the work done by Pedro was wonderful! He is a very charismatic and handsome man ♡
So good to hear Pedro saying them/ they when talking about Bella 😊
Not surprising, his younger sister Lux is trans and he is fiercely supportive of her. He has nothing but respectf for how people identify themselves.
I could listen to him talk about acting and movies/tv all day
I love that an interviewer is actually asking real questions instead of all the daddy and thirst shit... I love him so much and I'm so glad he actually got to talk about real life stuff. ❤

Such an amazing story-teller.
Shes really the best.

Great interview. It's my second time watching this interview and I love it.
Great interview! Love this actor!
Long overdue. Jenelle and Pascal is perfection!
He’s gonna smash it as reed richards can’t wait.
You know it! 😍
He is inspirational!
I feel like this show is kind of the new Inside the Actor's Studio. I miss James Lipton. Jenelle is a great interviewer.
Eres lo más lindo del mundo Pedritoooo ❤❤❤
Love this in depth interview but I can only think of Pedro's poor back and shoulder! And his cold/ chest infection 🥺
Oscar Isaac is such a hoot lol! I can only imagine how chaotic their rehearsals might have been.
BLESS YALL FOR THIS😮💨🙌
I love this guy so much ❤️
I am completely in love with this one 😍
He sure dodged that Fantastic Four question 🤣
Now he’s Reed Richards 😂
I dont know how pedro remembers all these random plays he saw AND the directors/producers.
His sickly voice…. 😫🥹

Him being a natural funny, goofy guy but being cast in dramas and labeled as a dramatic actor reminds me of when overpowered fictional characters reveal that they’ve actually been fighting with a self imposed handicap all this time 😅 He is stronger in comedy imho
I want Pedro to play a werewolf. He would kill it!
1:34:00 Mr. Fantastic Himself!!!!
WE COULDVE HAD PEDRO PASCAL IN DAREDEVIL ARE YOU KIDDING ME
Sounds like he was feeling pretty miserable and he soldiered through it. What a good guy. If I sounded like that, I'd be fetal, on the couch, nursing a bottle of Nyquil.

34:00 timestamping one of my favorite points for myself. Use it if you want, whatever 😂
Pedro is so good as joel, I literally thought ‘this actor isn’t gonna be happy about episode 3’. I thought the actor playing joel would be a macho homophobe 🤭
Pedro is a big supporter of the LGBTQ Community 🏳️🌈
You don't have a clear understanding of the character Joel, he is not bothered by the fact that Ellie is gay and in fact encourages her in her relationship with Dina in part of the game. So why would the actor playing him be any different?
pedro pascal loml

He gave a tape to Sarah Paulson who is a friend of Amanda Pete and her husband is one of the creators. They took a chance on him due to his performance on the tape. :)
And he wasn't 25 when he played Oberyn. He was late 30s early or mid 40s I believe.
