Funny story, back in my school days I ran a small gambling ring using Sensible Soccer. Everyone would pick a team and put 50p into the pot, whoever won the massive custom league would win the pot and I'd walk away with a few quid skimmed off the top. Ah the good ole days.
Goal scoring superstar hero, You let your hair down and play to the fans. You're a goal scoring superstar hero, And every goal, goal, goal, says you're the best in the land.
A bit significant how the world changes.. in the 90s it was normal to produce a parodistic and funny video with men slapping a woman's ass, drinking alcohol while playing football, smoking, fighting on the pitch.. it's still funny today as it's an obvious parody but I am pretty sure today the producers would be blasted.
OK, so this game got released on Xbox 360. AND it got Xbox One backwards compatibility. ...I thought that the problem was that Xbox 360 Arcade games, at one point, had file size limitations. I mean, I'm FINE if Castlevania: Symphony of the Night doesn't have the lame early-3D-graphics cutscenes... but WHY was this not patched in later???
I had asked Richard Joseph himself, almost 18 years ago. Here's what he posted: www.sensiblesoccer.de/forum/swos-related/1437-goal-scoring-superstar-hero-lyrics#10110
The unmatched best football game EVER
I played Jon Hare a game of SWOS at promotional function once and drew 2-2. He was mighty impressed by my skills. Good memories.
SWOS forever and ever! I still playing today. FIFA and PRO Evo who?!

Searched this out due to guru larry's latest video. I remember the song but didn't realise there was a video intro to it. damn funny one too.

Pretty sure the woman playing the "queen"/"princess" at the beginning is also the woman who sings the song.
Yep Jacky Read.
This and ISS Deluxe have never been bettered

this intro video needs to be explained. why the 2 video styles? why the mustaches? what was the singer doing in the men's changing room?

Something wrong with this line of the verse. You let your hair down and play.....She definitely does not say 'to the fans.'

@@redhair18 years? Wow it's a lifetime. I appreciate but Richard's wrong
@@nidhoggnors2716 But he is the producer :D www.scenestream.net/demovibes/song/12369/
@@redhair True, but no one on Earth can convince me that Jackie says 'to the fans' though :)
