Dipesh Chakrabarty on 'The history of studying History: what's changed?'

In this ACPH History Byte, Distinguished Professor Dipesh Chakrabarty visiting from the University of Chicago tells us about the history of History (ie the discipline). He divides this into three broad phases, commencing with the idea that people from the past were just the same as us to the current era which gives voice to the experiences of individuals.
