  • Howdy ya’ll. Today we will look at Dresden, Germany in fantastic detail through a collection of 150 of the rarest and oldest photographs taken before the events of the Second World War. We will pay special attention, photographically, to the quality and quantity of the architecture, with the elaborate Dresden Castle at the core of the city since at least the year 1200. Enjoy!

      Our realm has been invaded. How many times before? are we just the latest prisoners, being replaced by more manageable synthetics? Look at how we’ve been wounded spiritually on every level these past few years alone. Few infrastructure was damaged, that work had been done decades before. These must be the last days. Yes, the Bombing of Dresden was intentional. There is a book, "Slaughterhouse Five" by Kurt Vonnegut that tells of the Bombing of Dresden. I read this in the 1970's or early 80;s. Vonnegut dedicated the book to the Residents of Dresden. The book is unique in its manner of addressing Hypocrisy. Dresden was bombed primarily by the USA. The American public was told that Dresden had Munitions Factories so had to be bombed, However, there were NO Munitions Factories within a 30 mile radius of Dresden. At the time of the war the population was about 180,000.
    When I was about 10 years old (about 10 years after WWII) I received a Christmas gift of a children's set of Dresden China having plates, dishes, cups, saucers, Tea Pot, etc etc....as did All the little girls of that time. Dresden was known for its history of producing the most beautiful Blue and White China. Dresden had been filled with China Factories, not munitions factories. This is giving me tears right now.

But only on these old pictures here, you can imagine the real beauty of Dresden in the old days. It's amazing what people were capable of when they were in harmony with themselves and with all around. Maybe this form of architecture represents their inner form of peace and love? Amazing

    Thank you Jared , Absolutely mind bending architecture. So we are told the first power tool was not invented until 1895 by a German Engineering company called C&E Fein combining an electric motor with a manual drill creating the very first power tool ! Of course we have also learned in recent history in ancient times they more than likely had tools that far exceed our technology today , but using frequency …
    How Brutal and Evil was the USA Corp and it’s Allie’s in the absolute purposeful annihilation of these structures and even more so the beyond horrific suffering and decimation of the German people ! Most have no idea of the barbaric brutality and suffering that millions upon millions of Herman people and immigrants went through , those killed instantly in these bombings were the lucky ones , those who lived suffered brutal repeated rape , freezing temperatures , starvation and a death scene that came straight from the pit of hell !!!!

    I visited Dresden in 1979 without any of its previous history knowledge. Do not remember seeing any of this beautiful building, castles, and monuments. Kings Palace Zwinger was still in ruins. Only Dresden Art Museum was restored and functioning. The first question was WHY? Dresden had absolutely no military. It was a civilian city with over 400,000 displaced by the war people To figure it out just look at the calendar. Dresden was bombed on Feb 13-15 1945. The Russian troupes were at the gate, and they did enter the city practically the very next day after the bombing. Exactly the same story as with Japan bombing. Let them bite the dust. But the main reason in my opinion was an idea of some bastards of the OLD WORLD destruction. Dresden had absolutely no military. Couple years ago, I watched on a History Channel a confession by one of the WW2 veterans, a pilot who took part at that massacre. He mentioned there was a very special operation. Why it took 3 days? On the first day, Feb. 13, they have thrown on the city not the bombs, but special residue, some kind of inflammable glue, or gel that got stuck to the walls of the stone buildings. In three following raids all kind of "materials such as napalm, thermite, magnesium powder, chlorine trifluoride, or white phosphorus were thrown on the city. Though colloquially often known as bombs, they are not explosives but in fact are designed to slow the process of chemical reactions and use ignition rather than detonation to start or maintain the reaction". This explains the real purpose of this act of vandalisme. Interestingly, that U.S. pilot had no remorse even today for what he has done. When I ask U.S. former military who served in Rammstein on what do they think about Germany, there is only one answer - it's a U.S. colony. That's why there is no single mentioning of Dresden bombing on any touristic website of this city.

    Very beautiful video and very nice and rare photos. For those particularly interested in the wonderful buildings of old Dresden I recommend the excellent book of Julius Löffler: "Das Alte Dresden: Geschichte seiner Bauten" (1962). The sadistic and totally unnecessary bombing of Dresden illustrates clearly that the Allies' policy was the total physical and cultural destruction of Germany. Another case, almost unknown, is the equally vile and sadistic bombing and destruction of the beautiful royal Prussian city of Potsdam by the RAF on April 14, 1945 (2 weeks before the end of the war!) BTW, you will NOT find any mention of it if you do a search in English. Try "die Zerstörung Potsdams 1945"

    • @andreaerling7614
      @andreaerling7614 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Of course it was targeted on purpose.
      The city was the epitomy of German architectural art, with plenty of baroque buildings. They called it the Florence on the river Elbe.
      It was a direct assault on German art and civilisation - 2 months at the end of the war.

    It breaks my heart to see that magnificent, beautiful architecture destroyed and lost forever. How exquisite Dresden was, people who lived there in the late 1800s lived in the most beautiful city imaginable. But maybe it's just as well it belongs to the past, I'd hate to see Jamal and Latitia, the inheritors of the earth, ravage and ruin it as they have done to Detroit.

    I’ve read many comments……all giving homage to the Architecture, ie, the beaux art architecture. Yet, everywhere in the world is being torn down the most magnificent beaux art buildings to be replaced with the Frankfurt School crap of steal and glass and hideous concrete. Are you telling me that all these treasures would be here today had the Allied bombing never happened? Are you??
    The EU headquarters also robbed us of magnificent architecture only to be replaced by Frankfurt School hideousness. I’m sorry, you still only have Little Adolf to thank for this loss. No Adolf, No Allied Bombing. ……..That said, You reconstructed the Cathedral beautifully.

I think it's 13 or 18 1 hr. Videos.   • @val7287
    @val7287 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The question is not who built the old architecture and how advanced it looks as opposed to today but who orchestrated the destruction of all these buildings and everything which has to do with our past/heritage? It certainly gives a new meaning to wars and we realize the true purpose of WW 1 and 2 was to erase our former culture even if the new one was significantly inferior. In fact the more in the past we look the more advanced the technology/architecture seems to be (Cologne Cathedral Germany). Who has been controlling people and our past/culture/history/heritage for millennias and what is their true purpose? Why have they destroyed every major cathedral here in US and only some still remain in Europe?
