This car shows better in person. I thought the slab-sidedness and rear styling was awful at first, but then I saw one in person and thought it was pulled together well. I still don't understand why Cadillac doesn't swear the details though. Small things like incandescent turn signals on a car with all LED lighting elsewhere is blatant cost-cutting and ruins the aesthetic. The interiors are better and appropriate for the class, however. The plastics are better than what MB offers on the A-Class/CLA, but MB still has the tech edge. But this car kills them all on performance.

Thank you for this video. I really wish Cadillac would get someone ambitious in charge. The xt4,xt5, and new Escalade are wonderful but the ct4, ct5 and xt6 leave something to be desired on the interior. The materials are great but they don't stand out that well.

The CT5 really shines in person though, however the XT4/5 needs some reimagining. The crossover class is red-hot and only getting hotter. They will likely be updated with the new Escalade's styling themes...

I have one of these and the performance is really slick in the Sport version. Handling is adjustable from Sport Mode to Tour Mode, In Tour the suspension is smoothed out so it rides like a heavy car, Sport is much more responsive to the gas pedal and suspension is looser so you can make quick lane changes easier. Very economical on 93 octane gas.

Car looks nice in most colors. However GM reliability is still going to be an issue. I purchased a 2021 CT4 and within 1 month had it back at the dealership (twice) for something as innocent sounding as "Engine Light On". They have had to replace a (cluster) module (not stocked in Canada) but were unable to program it (which I interpreted as a configuration activity). I have been told that I will be without my vehicle for 6 weeks while GM engineering writes some new programming for the new module. At least they are providing a free rental but this does not bode well. Yikes

We picked up a 2018 CT6 2.0E plug-in with 575 miles that retailed for $77K for $39K one year ago. At only 500 produced between 2017-2018 it is a bit of a unicorn and very over priced originally. We seldom use gas as the battery range I up to 40 miles. We charge at home for .05 cents a kw and if battery is used up is 13.3 kw to fill. So it costs .65 cents to go 40 miles!

@Randy Jackson my Tahoe is 21 years old and still runs great. Try taking care of your cars and they may last. If you like to beat around your cars, buy a Toyota.
