She is consistently and constantly believable in her characterizations. She convinces us again and again that she actually is every one of the many human beings she has portrayed on screen. As an actor, she is in a class and level of talent beyond compare. Film as an art has been forever enriched by Meryl Streep. Thank you! ❤
Meryl has a unique gift to capture the soul of each character she portrays, a true gift from God. Thank God for an actress like Meryl, for she gives us an important insight into the human condition. I love you Meryl.
It's hard to say anything more about Meryl Streep....she makes every role she plays into perfection of the character she's emoting. Thank you for a completely enjoyable video!!
Altough Hollywood have so many great actresses, none of them are so talented as Meryl...She can play everything..She became the person she needs to act...You just forget who she realy is...Love her...She doesn't hold records for nominations for nothing...😊
I just cannot imagine this world without Meryl Streep... She is the very personification of what acting is all about, the epitome, the apex of everything what a genuine thespian should be. She is an absolute perfection!!! And while there are others too who are considered excellent, but next to her they come in third or fourth only BECAUSE NO ONE comes in second to her! It's a spot that shall remain ever vacant for eons to come.. Meryl is the greatest actor of all time, male and female alike!!!!!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🌹🌹🌹🌹
What an amazing tribute! Meryl Streep is such an awesome actress. There is nothing she can’t do, no role she can’t play. She is by far the greatest actress of our time!
Did any one stop to think a smile only last a while? She talented like so many others, really speaks for herself. Years of experience will say it ALL, don't think she needs understanding....
I spent quarantine going through Meryl's body of work. And then watching the interviews for that specific project. What a revelation! You realize how much she advocates for each and every character she plays. Watching this tribute is the perfect way to bookend the exercise! Beautiful. Thank you very much!
The most accomplished and referred American actress in the history of the American film. Her range of characters stagger the mind --------- we are not going to encounter her like again. And what a body of work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really don't have words how am i going to thank you for making this wonderful video rather a short documentary about my idol this wonderful lady Meryl Streep.... for me drama is equal to Meryl Streep...accept my gratitude...♥️👏👏🙏🙏
If it was a Meryl Streep movie, I saw it...and all of her films are great, but Sophie's Choice left me sleepless for nights, although I saw the film after reading the book. She is incomparable.
“The Bridges Of Madison County” is not only my favorite of her films, it’s an exquisite, understated, heartbreaking, soul wrenching performance and film. The two leads are regular looking people. Not Hollywood gorgeous. And they are mature adults, not twenty somethings. It’s a special, very unique film. The chemistry between her and Clint Eastwood who directed the film also, is tangible and real. You can cut the sexual tension with a knife. And when the children are reading her story after she dies, the writing for that part is truly remarkable. They read these words and start to learn a secret knowledge of their dead mother’s life, and discover they never really knew her at all, or all she had given up in order to stay with them. The writing in the diaries is truly brilliant and true to life, devastatingly honest and deep. I’ve seen it many times over the years, but only watch it every once in awhile because it breaks my heart in two and I weep every time, and think about loves I’ve known and lost over the years. And many of them were a secret knowledge and heartbreak, just like hers in the film. But no matter how many times I’ve seen it, and despite already knowing the ending, every single time when they are both in the trucks at the stop light and the light turns green, and she’s got her hand on the door handle and her husband oblivious beside her, beeping his horn, I think “get out of the truck, please go, a love like this comes but once in a lifetime”. My heart just breaks for all of them in that moment. But especially her. It’s such a real moment. And then she goes to the pantry to cry her soul out. It’s a a scene that I personally relate to very much and one that many of us have lived in our own lives in one variety or another. That movie is unjustly underrated. Even though to me, It’s a million times better than that sappy, sugar coated, trying too hard, Notebook movie. Which I’ve seen once and that was enough. All hail Meryl. An actress Like her “comes but once in a lifetime”. 😉
How great she is, very talented and always unforgettable! I loved the Iron lady, Julie and Julia, The devil's wear Prada, The post, Sufragette all those women character she played whom are so involved, determined, and they lead, they did not compete against men they just step up , committed to be a woman complete just to challenge herself what I , A woman can do and can contribute, achieve. She is Brilliant!! 🌹🌹🌹🙌🙌🎉🎉
This is rare for me. While being swept away with memories and laughter and admiration and even some tears watching Meryl, my greatest impression was how lovely it was watching and how very beautiful the workmanship in putting this piece together is. I subscribed long ago. Your work is inspiring, Eric. Very well done, indeed. This takes the cake.
Robert DiNero, so convinced of Streep’s talent and capabilities after seeing her in only one play, insisted to the producers that she be given the opportunity to read for the Deer Hunter. OR HE WOULD NOT DO THE MOVIE. And the rest is history...
He also paid for her late boyfriend John Cazale to be in that movie as he was dying of cancer and they that he was a liability. That was the boyfriend Meryl took care of until the day he died.
A universal treasure. Mary Louise Streep, the greatest female actor of the American Cinema. If it were for me you'd had at least 7 Oscars. Love you Meryl. Humble and down to earth.
I didn't have many opportunities to watch her movies but Kramer vs Kramer was when I first saw her work & fell in love with her as an actress & became her fan. Thank you for producing this filmography abou her so that people like me who aren't able to appreciate her work all the time knows her accomplishment & hardwork she had put herself into to deserved all these awards. May God bless her with health, happiness, and longevity & hope to see more of her work in many more years to come, Love from Singapore!
Thank you Eric for making these videos. I've enjoyed all your videos starring Meryl Streep. Not only is she one of the greatest stars of this century, she is a truly wonderful human being. I know this without having met her.
Love her .She can do any kind of role , any language, any ethnicity, She is the best actor I have ever seen in the world of Cinema, She could also perform as an Indian and have no flaws. I was looking for such a video of her , and this was perfect, Thank you so much
I love Meryl since I first saw her on tv mini series Holocaust... Told everybody back then, that she would become one of the greatest actors of all times... here she is, still amazing 42 years after!!
Such an astonishing and captivating personality. Perfect really. She is also the best actress in the history of film-making, giving me such pleasure throughout my lifetime with her steady stream of wonderful works.
The best actress in the world, she is beautiful, natural and pure beauty of womankind, sensitive, intelligent and remarkable lady! She loves what she does that she is the perfect actress. She is totally herself when she is interviewed. May G bless her and give her more academy awards. She deserves it in all her movies. We love you Meryl Streep.
Animalkisser I need to see “Julia”...can’t believe I missed it. I think Kramer v. Kramer was the first movie I ever saw with her in the lead. I read years ago she has an Ivy League college education. She’s not just a pretty face but a deep, educated woman.
She has aged gracefully and beautifully. I love how authentic and genuine she is. She’s seems like a very down to earth, real and just ordinary person. But oh such extraordinary talent...
83croissant no she never has. She has aged very naturally and has said she likes aging because it makes her feel and look wise. I’m serious. She doesn’t do plastic surgery. She is happy with who she is.
I love your editing talent Eric. Meryl Streep is my all time favorite actress EVER. I realized how talented she was when I saw Sophie's Choice at the movie theater with my sister when it first came out. That movie changed me I swear. I actually just watched Heartburn 2 nights ago on Amazon prime. That is such a good movie, it's funny ! I need to see Julia (the one with Jane Fonda) and The French Lieutenants Woman. Every movie with Meryl Streep is always a really great movie. I just watched the video before this one too. It was so funny! Thanks for sharing. (✿^‿^)
I'd pay to watch Meryl Streep knit and I hate knitting so much that I succeeded splendidly in forgetting how as soon as I learned. I'd watch Meryl Streep read the phone book as she did on one of those late night talk shows in every shade of character demanded of her on the spot. I'd watch Meryl Streep...what a limber, fascinating, breathtakingly wide range she has. We are gifted with her "body of work" as it grows every year in the most unpredictable and pleasurable ways. To moviemakers everywhere: keep hiring her. And hire more women actors who bring so much to the table and the discussion because they are so infrequently seen contributing the bounty of their wisdom, depth and talent.
You know I always loved since I was a child even if I've had barely seen few movies, you can feel the greatness, the passion is all there and nobody is on her level. I guess it's also her personality and her characters that are so well chosen
Absolutely my favourite actress! I have memorized some of her scenes but could not quite Master her performance. She deserves every award she ever won! Love her❤
Eric: this is great editing 👌 Thanks! 😁 I can feel it! You put everything very well.

Can you just do this every year! Cause she always slayssssss!
Just absolutely wonderful. Thank you!
Wonderful, thank you!!
I love Meryl since I first saw her on tv mini series Holocaust... Told everybody back then, that she would become one of the greatest actors of all times... here she is, still amazing 42 years after!!
@Cesar. i had the same scenario: saw holocaust, struck by the talent , predicted her glorious career.
Plus knowing she took the Holocaust to pay for her dying boyfriends bills is nice of her.
That was the one she took to pay her dying boyfriends bills.

Great tribute! Sad it overlooked Ironweed with Jack Nicholson. One of Meryl's greatest.
So true... they also left out her brilliant performance in Albert Brook´s "Defending your Life"
Something happened to my comment so...here it is again. Eric creates the greatest tributes to Meryl! This is one of the best!
