This was actually only found in my village specifically for medicine some others village had them too but not as good compare to the one in our village
oh ok! we didn't know that the other species of gingers were also special... but we can only imagine if the climate is good for turmeric that it might be good for other roots :D will try when we go back
we would really love to explore more of the north-east and cook wherever we go! especially to learn more about the local ingredients... that is our favourite part :) thanks for the comment!
@@batchoygaming2478 absolutely delicious. especially bc lakadong turmeric is more pungent and stronger... so it goes so well with like the sweet aroma of the cinnamon and high fat content of the milk we used :)
yeah?? wow would love to! we saw some local people selling honey when we went to cherrapunjee but did not get a chance to try it does it have any unique taste? we will be back ;)
@ it’s the unadulterated fresh honey obtained by the locals .. it has a lot of medicinal benefits as well.. we eat it with bread. It is also consumed to treat cough and other ailments
@@rangehboklyngwa6743 thats awesome. we try and use raw, unprocessed honey as much as we can lot of good health benefits - we always feel better after a small teaspoon :)
@@rangehboklyngwa6743 we saw a bunch of vendors selling that in Shillong close to bara bazar haha we totally considered it but we didnt have the luggage space :P
