Wow ! What an explanation ! you covered all aspects of this phenomena in such a short , crisp and clear explanation with beautiful real demonstration and figures ! I salute you sir ! you are the best teacher I found so far in my experience ! Thanks a lot ! I love to pay you for any video you make ! Even for this video I would to donate in case you pass on the account details sir !
I'm totally hooked. I never knew there were so many amazing chemical component details in the exsistance of a spark gap. It leads to so many exciting possibilities that it's almost addicting. Thanks for giving so much detail in your presentation
Great content! So much stuff and so clearly explained. I also was trying to simulate a spark gap with LTSpice and my first choice, that worked more of less, was to use a Zener diode in reverse with a breakdown voltage set to the breakdown voltage of my gap.
Dude thank you! I've been searching for a SPICE model for a spark gap for a long time and finally found your video. And by the way, great explanation of the working of the spark gap. And by the way , I'm using ORCAD capture lite PSICE software and I want know if I could use the spark gap circuit the you have shown to model a new part/component. I want to use the new spark gap part to construct a multiple stage HEMP Marx generator.
Somehow I missed what the purpose of the resistor is ( 2 Meg Ohms)? I also missed what LTSpice means in the first place? Does it have any salt or is it sugar, must be on light side I would think. There is no telling, that is for sure. I seem to be miss the most important parts. And what would be the result if instead of DC, the supply is AC? Too many questions... I ruin everything.

omg sir this is great u explain things slowly and spot on keep up these videos and u will build a audience
I believe you ment the energy stored in the electric field in the capacitor. 4:25
I think so too
What a video and what an explanation, very useful. I wonder why you don't continue making videos?
amazing teacher you got the gift
I want to control a spark gap with a triode or high voltage mosfet, Id sure like to see your thoughts on the mater, Thanks
Excellent explanaition. Thank you very much.
Great content. Also, soothing voice 👏

OMG, I love this one!
great video and great explanation.Thanks!
Well done. Thank you very much indeed.
great explanation

magnetic field in a capacitor? 4:22
Audacity is brilliant
How to model a variable spark gap that follows Paschen's Law?
