the USA has the same issue. Homeless vets when we have closed military bases sitting empty and rotting! Would be perfect housing for our homeless VETERANS..

Many people with PTSD are struggling. There are more child abuse victims with PTSD and other disorders struggling.

Just a thought. Why as a country have unlimited resources for refugees for medical treatment housing food etc but our vets are living in the street ???

Good question. The federal government must answer that question.

Because we are too busy with our lives and afraid of loosing or having to give up something of ourselves, to stand up and let our demands of how we want our country to be run. I they don't know so they do it the way is suits them , not the masses. The way they see it is, if we don't not contest to what they do , we automatically consent to what they do. Allow our voices to be heard.

Oh, by the way, The Earth is not a spinning Globe !!! Our Father did not create a globe for us to live in. research it, google it, The firmament is the key !!!

Just a thought Bp I see it all the time here in Toronto and to think the Immigrants are treated like royalty is just pure sickening John Tory and Justin Trudeau the worst leaders in the freaking history of this country.

If government does create a program to help homeless veterans they will be admitting there is a problem created by a war over politics. War the past 30 years has had nothing to do with the good of others. Government feels justified in helping refugees because there is a real problem in their country all the while there is a VERY real problem in our own countries created by the government.
Being a veteran can be difficult because you are taught to be strong and show no weakness. After returning to civilian life your mind is still at war. Being in fight or flight mode for months and years on end changes the way your brain works. It changes your cardiovascular system. How to change back to normal is something I am trying to learn how to do myself.

Wow! My father got Lucky! After 25 years as a Radioman in the Navy, we retired to Washington State and within 6 months got job with ATT/Pacific Northwest Bell. But know every town is different. And then there is PTSD...of which I do understand that one.
    The system needs attention!

It's those who work within the government, that do the very least for their country, that have the best retirement plans and pension plans.. It's a twisted system..

Hey 👋 Global do you have a reporter that can help our family in a serious matter? We have photo and video evidence, and witnesses m but as expected NO ONE WANTS TO GET INVOLVED
WE LEFT THIS COMMENT on 630 CHED
✨Hi Bob, we heard you on air say its illegal for people to walk around a community intoxicated , how come the Edmonton police had no problem with this in our community Malmo Plains?
F.A. Is An alcoholic that harasses people and drinks and drives, and gets away with it!
He even hit our mother causing bruises and the eps Cnst Tipton did not lay assault charges
The drunk neighbor has literally gathered up the police 👮 with lies .police in the past said “he’s a smoothtalker”.
We recorded everything on camera to prove the truth and the police charged me for mischief!
Thats wrong and we are fighting this in court in 2020
Does CHED have an investigative reporter that can help our family? Our 83 yr old widow mother and the rest of our family are the victims, yet the police did NOTHING TO HELP, and have made things worse!
A documentary book 📖 is being written about the past years of unbelievable harassment
    Thanks 🙏 CHED

Not everyone was as emotionally resilient as other and yourself. Many on the the streets be they vets or otherwise have a mental disability or illness that is disabling. I love the song Try a Little Kindness by Glen Campbell.
