Yes! Mr Caterpillar would have been saying "Give it heaps, boys, and when you finally manage to bust it, I'll happily sell you another!" I was waiting to see the washdown and the tracks freed but neither happened. We should appreciate that not all others operate machinery as we do ... they must make do with what they've got.
Can you imagine the fuel bill for all those pieces of heavy equipment to be involved with this cluster f*ck. Nothing like some rubber neckers sitting there waiting for steel cables to snap and send their heads rolling. Not a hardhat in sight and everyone barefoot. OHSA, we don't need no stinking Osha. There is even a woman standing on the edge with a toddler in her arms.
From everything I could see, the breather intake was never underwater, so I don't believe the engine was hurt. That said, why wasn't the operator of the stuck machine inside, full throttle, helping get the dozer out?
I thought about that too, the only thing I can think of is that they broke it bad when they were trying to get it out the first time. Maybe snapped and axle or blew the transmission? Could have wrecked the motor too it happens.
That brings back memories, I built tailings ponds for 37 years, seen so many dozer’s stuck I can’t remember how many, we worked in sand and hot water slurry with a big spill hole as the tailings was pumped into what we called cells, things got bad when there was clay mixed in it. This rescue was nothing compared to having a dozer completely buried, and that rice patty dozer is the best for what you are doing, on the stuck dozer you should cut round holes in to the pads as that lets the tracks stay loose to turn and they also break the suction. All in god rescue besides the damage, no matter how stuck alway keep the front of the dozer up by putting the blade down.
The tracks wouldn't turn. I am wondering if it had a mechanical breakdown as the reason for it being stuck, or they just didn't put the transmission in neutral before pulling it.
The engine breather intake wasn't under water why wasn't it running instead of having the tracks locked and the blade in the ground I guess they work harder instead of smarter
Wet sand when it settles ,holds you like your welded down , agitated water on the sand breaks the hold ,or go brute force ,stand back for cable snapping .
@54:01, it looks like his left front track is thrown from burying the tracks and the sand packing itself inside of the upper tracks and jamming them up and causing them to go off the wheels, rendering the use of the dozer's engine useless.

Seems to me they could have pulled long ago with the other dozer pushed with the bucket and finished a long long long time ago. Just saying PS bare feet, and might help to pick the blade up and hook multiple pieces of equipment together to pull.
A winch on the dozer doing the pulling would have done the job. Better yet if stuck dozer was running and had a winch winch would have been even better. Winches are the only way to go.

This was fascinating as none of them had a clue what to do. They made no attempt to put the tracks in freewheel, so it was just a dead weight. They disconnected the blade hydraulics so it could not be used to lift the machine. They tried to drag it out using tracked machines instead of anchoring a machine and using the hydraulic arm to pull it out.

That's their economic edge over us. That's why everything costs so damned much here. Over there, nobody gives a damn. So there's a standards mismatch.
Something happened to the transmission or final drive because the track wasn't free-wheeling. "Oh! Neutral? You didn't tell me to put it in neutral?"
From everything I could see, the breather intake was never underwater, so I don't believe the engine was hurt. That said, why wasn't the operator of the stuck machine inside, full throttle, helping get the dozer out?
they get pad by the hr. LOL
I thought about that too, the only thing I can think of is that they broke it bad when they were trying to get it out the first time. Maybe snapped and axle or blew the transmission? Could have wrecked the motor too it happens.
Because he was busy looking for his shoes. Who in the hell works on a heavy construction site barefooted?

If the shoe was on the other foot this might not have happened ba ha ha ha crazy ,this video is not OSHA APPROVED lol
Someone should tell these people about grease gun's and how they should be used all the time
And thanks for pulling the decal
You had all that time, you could have spent it getting it running again which would have been a big help.
The excavator operator was pretty good.
It's too bad they couldn't start the stuck dozer up to help. I think that would have made all the difference.
what if they are trying to steal it?
@@frankovito , LOL!!!!!
Why wasn't it running?
Try ...Try.. until you succeed . From Tamil Nadu India
Thanks 😊 🙏
Was it stuck in gear or something? Wouldn't things been easier if the dozer's tracks were able to roll freely?
Nothing runs like a rental!
I think this was a very grand attempt to entertain viewers to have a laugh!
As a huge fan of Chris of letsdig18, this was sadly comical….So many misses…
NUMBER ONE IS NOW NUMBER TWO ! ! !
And turn the excavator around and use the bucket the hydros is where it's power is
😊😅 2:07 😊
No elephants,no clowns,still a bloody circus
This 1/2 inch cable is more than sufficient to pull a 30 tonne dozer, belly deep in sand.
very very smart and supportive of each other !
yet another 50 chiefs and two workers
The tracks wouldn't turn. I am wondering if it had a mechanical breakdown as the reason for it being stuck, or they just didn't put the transmission in neutral before pulling it.
Now we got to hide three hrs of downtime for three machines 😑, good luck😁
14 men out of action for an hour.
频道非常好!谢谢!!
The engine breather intake wasn't under water why wasn't it running instead of having the tracks locked and the blade in the ground I guess they work harder instead of smarter
I'm not a heavy equipment operator but why not clean out the tracks? rolling beats dragging??
There are many ways leading to Rome... This is probably one of the longest ones. More experience will get you smarter in these circumstances🙂.
Mantap bos ku
Wet sand when it settles ,holds you like your welded down , agitated water on the sand breaks the hold ,or go brute force ,stand back for cable snapping .
Did you see how close they was walking near the machine
@@dylancolebrooke693 yeah it's scary
Thank you 🙏 for great 👍 video 🎥 finally it is free 😀👏👏👏 can you do it again please 🙏it is only waste of money 💰 great 👍 show 😅
Why isn’t an operator reversing it as they pull it out?
@54:01, it looks like his left front track is thrown from burying the tracks and the sand packing itself inside of the upper tracks and jamming them up and causing them to go off the wheels, rendering the use of the dozer's engine useless.
Because he is NOT an operator he is a tractor driver for pennies on the dollar
Yep on the thrown track.
@@larrysorenson4789 I'm legally blind and did not see the thrown track ... excuse me for not being born perfect.
@@macinfloydvolk i have worked my life with handicapped and blind. My mentor was Alvin Pennington who was the safety officer for the Apollo program. He lost his sight while sitting at his desk. He never wallowed in self pity and spent his remaining years teaching the blind at a major university, how to cope. He was a great guy and with the help of his life long friend to guide him, he golfed to a 10 handicap. My dad and I played in his golf tournament every year.
Reviewing my post, i said nothing derogatory about you not “seeing” the track. And before i read the post from the guy who did “see” it , I merely agreed with him. You read something into my note that simply was not there. Your snakky and sarcastic comment was not necessary and speaks volumes about your attitude and outlook on life. I offer this: You have life. It was really a very tough job bringing the machine out. Could you please tell me how your machine was stuck in the sand ?
Thanks ❤️🇦🇪❤️🇦🇪
This is what you call hydrostatic stuck ,the suction must be broken.

That was productive day.🤣
Good job
Go on 👍
Seems to me they could have pulled long ago with the other dozer pushed with the bucket and finished a long long long time ago. Just saying PS bare feet, and might help to pick the blade up and hook multiple pieces of equipment together to pull.
Third world. No shoes required.
Nice work boots!
A winch on the dozer doing the pulling would have done the job. Better yet if stuck dozer was running and had a winch winch would have been even better. Winches are the only way to go.
The driver of this bulldozer was either drunk or blind to fall into this hole. You have to find another driver who has experience. There is no excuse for him no matter what.👊👊👉
This was fascinating as none of them had a clue what to do. They made no attempt to put the tracks in freewheel, so it was just a dead weight. They disconnected the blade hydraulics so it could not be used to lift the machine. They tried to drag it out using tracked machines instead of anchoring a machine and using the hydraulic arm to pull it out.
@dennisharvey4499• I was waiting for them to pump that water out for the longest time.
What is he waiting for on the roof? Is he demonstrating how helpless he is/ was?
JSC Criminal Psychology channel should cover this horrific crime scene. 😳 So much negligence and stupidity before and after the murder of this workhorse of a machine

The whole village turned out for this one.
Also, The excavator operator could of used his bucket to use as a tool to pull them out. Hydraulics with an excavators are more driven (by power) to the arm and bucket-not the tracks. That`s common knowledge.
Not in their country.
You're forgetting the weight of the machine. That's why you never see them dragging a machine around with the arm and bucket when a track motor goes.
I have a 150 int been stuck many times hook a chain to the top of the track and pull most of time's it will rool out
