Thanks Jane The food was a shame because it's very good quality and really tasty. I wonder if it was because of the outside temperature it was chilly. We do love Amsterdam and have done some interesting things there in the past including the Amsterdam dungeon and a visit to the Heineken brewery.
It was good but the best meal was in Vasco the other speciality restaurant but you'll have to wait until next week for that. Thanks for watching Ladies and keep cruising.

Hi Lesley When we have used the thermal spa on other ships (which isn't very often) It is usually shared with other people. If you have a private treatment you are on your own. To book you just go to the Spa and book a slot they are sold in one hour periods on Fred Olsen but you can book a double session if you want.We didn't use the Spa on Riviera our itinerary was very port intensive and we didn't really find the time. Also on Oceania if you have a concierge grade then spa access is included. We didn't have that grade of cabin we just had an ocean view. Thanks for watching again. Happy Easter
Hi. I’m getting the feeling you have mixed feelings about the food. How does this compare to P&O? Can’t make my mind up whether we would like Fred Olsen.
Hi Karen I think the food is better than P & O our only issue with any of the food was the temperature of it on some occasions. I think I would best describe Fred Olsen as P & O was 25 years ago. It still has those special little touches and the staff have time for you.
@@karenparry367 it is very traditional and the food temperature issues I can't quite understand. In next week's episode we try the other speciality dining which is situated in part of the buffet and the food up there was piping hot.

Loved Amsterdam went there a few years ago, love their layered apple pie and hot chocolate, beautiful place.
We have been there a few times now both winter and summer. We enjoyed a visit to the Amsterdam dungeon on one occasion. A was really good fun.

@@KenGoesCruising thanks. We may risk it one day as cruises go from Liverpool which is close to us . I think we would like the smaller ships.
