- Join us as we set sail on the beautiful Sky Princess for our 14 day Mediterranean cruise. It wasn't plain sailing to begin with but we soon settled in. Lindsey started her research into cocktails, we had a great show in the theatre and the MDR food was very good.

I was on the same Norway cruise as you back in April 2022, same ship and terminal as this one. It was my only time so far using QE2 terminal and I remember that embarkation was a disaster zone too. Next time I'll park in town and walk down.

Just watched this video and as usual it's been brilliant , we are off on sky princess on the 2 Nov around the med this will be our 4 th time on Sky , not been on sky recently our last few have been with P,&O can't wait to be back on Sky 😊 looking forward to watching more of your blogs on sky before we go ❤

I will be on that cruise too. Been on many cruises and several companies but this will be our first time on Princess.

We love a cocktail or two. Lindsey did have a challenge from our followers to try quite a few different ones. Purely in the interest of research.

Another great vlog Ken & Lindsey. Could you tell me if many people bothered to dress up on Formal nights, such as suit & Dickie Bow for men?
It was mixed I would say maybe 50% in formal. The majority of other men had jacket and smart trousers but there were also others in shorts and T shirts
The CPS parking mess was the same on the cruise before yours on Sky Princess, we sat in the holding area for over an hour before they took our car. If the same thing is happening before every cruise you would hope they will have a re think!
It's a real shame we have never had issues with CPS before. I think the problem is Sky has too many passengers for the Queen Elizabeth terminal. We have been through there before on smaller ships with no problems.
I saw Gary Oliver on Ventura last year and I thought he was very funny.However there were many people saying he was not very good. How do you find princess cruises in comparison to P&O ?
I prefer the food on Princess, the choice of drinks on Princes is much better. We prefer the daytime activities on P & O. I think entertainment on P & O is slightly better but that's really a personal choice. Service is similar in quality but delivered in a different manner. Princess is more friendly using first name terms P&O is more respectful. I think there have been less cuts on Princess but the fares are higher.
QE II terminal in Southampton is really awful. The queues to drop luggage off go at different speeds, the staff are very poor at managing this. The luggage is taken from each person and slowly passed into a hole in a wall which adds to the delay, rather than as in every other cruise terminal that I have used, whereby you just drop your luggage off to staff and they pile it up. It takes over an hour just to drop off luggage. Then, you have to queue again in the terminal to check in. Took us nearly 2 hours from taxi drop off to boarding.

We embarked Sky Princess May 2022 from Queen Elizabeth terminal. It was utter chaos. Looks like they've learned nothing since then.
@@barnum4244 It really is a shame but we soon got over it and enjoyed our holiday. I guess if there are 5 ships in someone has to use this terminal. Thanks for watching
CPS on embarkation was a shit show...no signage and nobody seemed to be able to tell us where to go....eventually found the multi-storey and had a 20 min wait ...after that, all was really easy getting on board. Did you get any response from CPS?
This is our 3rd Princess trip and we found that we were able to book speciality on the app (pre-final payment)

@@KenGoesCruising How did you find disembarking with CPS?....we had no issues, ....signposted, friendly and efficient
@@dilligaf_at_all We had no issues at dissembarkation and we were told by a member of staff that the reason embarkation is so bad is because Princess don't allocate arrival times so everyone turns up at once. I must say we were told from midday but we know people were onboard at 10:30
