General Advice:
Feeding the Nests makes more resources appear the next day. You must repeat the process again on that same day to continue the bonus tomorrow. If you want to do so quickly, just feed the nest itself instead of the individual creatures.
In Grab Pickaxe, while holding right mouse button, do a left click to throw the item you're holding, making it easier to reach the mech without jumping.
Only make one Homestead at a time, bigger ones have more effects when reaching the Coziness quota.
In the first cave at the Ruins, the Mushrooms with flat circle tops can be harvested.
For the Noxious threats, it seem that you can shoot seeds at them. Proof at 6:47.
Query: Can the tools cycling go either way? Does the upward or downward scroll make you reach certain tools more quickly?

There are several resources you haven't discovered yet that unlock more stuff to build, there are different trees that give you different types of wood

if you hold Q, you can change the seeds as well as the equipment.

I might be crazy... but walking down by the beach or exploring other areas I'd have my chainsaw running THE WHOLE TIME. Try chopping up those seaside plants for new resources and stuff.

The crabs were the third nest, the rats didnt count because you didnt fully feed them. You only feed 2 rats not 3.
