    I have been in there. The owner allowed me to take photos when I worked for a small weekly newspaper. That ambulance is the actual one used to transport Oswald after he was shot by Ruby.

    A real beauty!!
    I was in first grade when President JFK was shot and I remember being in a Private school in California and someone rolling in a metal cart with a TV on it and playing the footage of what happened to all of us little kids.

    I don't think that's Jackie's actual hat and veil. Her veil was not 'netted' it was black crepe.

    • @dab.
      @dab. 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Jackie wore two hats; this one was worn for the funeral mass at the cathederal. At 0:05 you can see her wearing it in the photo on the wall next to the display. The other hat was worn for the funeral and burial.

    • @athenathegreatandpowerful6365

      @@dab. She wore a rounded hat over a black satin trimmed heavy crepe veil, a black lace mantilla type veil, a number of chapel veils of varying sizes and a black crepe veil over a tiny black wool pillbox hat. None of those has more than a passing resemblance to the hat shown. That hat/veil combo may be from another mourning period or just a regular church hat.

    Another excellent video, thank you. I hadn’t seen the religious items from Parkland Hospital or Mrs. Kennedy’s vail. I’ll never believe that Oswald fired off 3 pinpoint shots in 7.3 seconds using a rifle like that. Also didn’t know about the alias Oswald used to order the rifle.

      Simply put, its because he didnt and couldnt. Oswalds fellow Marines said he was a "Maggie's drawers" (a bad shot) & was NO marksman. Also, he didn't do it because he did not bring his rifle in with him that morning. What was in the package allegedly containing "curtain rods" was, in fact, curtain rods: this was supported by the co-worker (who gave Oswald a ride into work) and stated that the package he saw was short (lengthwise, about 24in.) & was folded over. Oswald's MC 6.5 was too big for that paper package, even when fieldstripped. Oswald was also seen by numerous TSBD employees who saw him in the employee breakroom at the time the shooting occurred (at 1230pm).Later on, when in police custody, he made the statement "I'm just the patsy". The fact and the truth.

    • @thud9797
      @thud9797 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Blah blah, Oswald had over 10 seconds to make the shots, very easy for him to do. This is a guy who could easily hit torso targets freehand at 200 yards! The Dealey plaza shots less than half that and he had a rest. And quoting Oliver Stone for evidence, lol that's pretty funny.

    • @heyron3554
      @heyron3554 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@waistgunner3930 Oswald
      Him being a bad shot doesn’t mean he couldn’t make the shot. It simply would make it less likely, and furthermore, Oswald did still pass in the series of tests in being ranked a marksman. While he scored low on the test, he did pass, and the tests stipulated he hit a silhouette consistently at 500 meters roughly. That’s about 1500 feet, compared to the mere 265 feet that separated Oswald from Kennedy at the time of the headshot. And it’s not like he landed all 3 shots. The first one missed the car by several feet, the second did land and hit Kennedy’s neck, but was basically just soft tissue damage and even Parkland trauma surgeons said it was readily survivable on its own. In other words, the only shot worth anything *was* the third, and there’s no doubt he would’ve been aiming for the head, so it took this marksman from the Marines 3 tries, with a rifle he was already very much familiar with. And as for the curtain rods, his coworker who saw the package and stated it looked shorter than the one found in the book depository, he made it clear several times he didn’t pay much attention to it to begin with. If Oswald did bring curtain rods into work that day, why were they never found there? Where did they go? And that claim of him being seen by multiple employees in the break room is entirely false. Only one employee claimed to have seen him minutes after the shooting, and that was on the second floor, and tests conducted already indicated that Oswald could make it to the second floor in the time between the shooting and that encounter. As for the pasty comment, no one who mentions that should even be dignified with a response but really just for others who view your comment, these things should be clarified. First, the interrogations conducted with Oswald were never recorded. There’s no evidence he actually said that. Second, if he did, why would you believe anything he says? You’ve never heard of a criminal in your life who’s said “I didn’t do it”?

    • @waistgunner3930
      @waistgunner3930 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @heyron3554 Sorry; while some of what you mention and have pointed out l might agree on; the rest l don't (and won't) buy. While Oswald was "supposedly" the shooter, the target he allegedly fired on was also moving... (much more difficult than any stationary target). In addition, over 50 witnesses saw & heard shots coming from the grassy knoll, as well as witnesses who saw a gunman firing from behind the fence...(there is additionally the famous Moorman photograph, which when enlarged, shows the image of a sniper who has been referred to as the "badgeman": this individual was dressed as a police officer, was armed with a rifle, and is corroborated by more than one witness... one of whom who came face-to-face with).
      I'm inclined to believe there were at least 5 snipers in triangular pattern, including one in the "storm drain" down on Elm St., and this is the gunman who along with the badgeman, made the fatal head shot. The key word here is cover-up: there's been too much evidence of what happened that has been covered up, key witnesses eliminated/threatened, evidence & proof destroyed, it never ends: it's very very doubtful we will ever learn the truth. I, for one, believe Oswald was set up & clearly the patsy (originally, like many others, l was convinced he did it, but soonafter my opinion changed completely). Recommend you watch the 1988 documentary "The Men Who Killed Kennedy"; the general consensus about that is that it is an eye-opener to millions. There was also a sequel entitled "TMWKK: The Truth Will Make You Free" (this one explains the probability of the storm drain gunman). You should see that one as well.

Which would seen to mean he purchased in in Russia but then it says he brought it along with him.....Maybe I'm missing something here but the wording makes it sound like he brought it from the US yet also makes it sound like it was purchased in Russia.

      With all due respect, performing a bit of independent research will quickly provide the answer to your question. If you have the ability to submit a question to this comment section, those same skills will afford you the ability to perform a simple Google search. Here a little help: JFK's Lincoln Continental limousine was not built in 1962, but it's "Quick Fix" alteration can be found today at the Henry Ford Museum, Greenfield Village, Dearborn, Michigan. Best of luck with your independent search for knowledge.
