@@HiMom1311 Alto saxophone takes less air to play than you might think it would when you have a setup that you're comfortable with and a good reed, especially at quiet volumes. Plus, wind players have a lot of endurance and lung capacity built up over years spent mostly exhaling with tiny little inhales here and there. If you're playing softly you can actually run into the issue of all of the air in your lungs being turned into carbon dioxide before you can even expend your lung capacity.

I saw them, last night, in Philly. I'm a fan of everything from RUSH, to the Bill Evans trio (and all in between). I came across KNOWER after reading a DIRTY LOOPS article, and have, since, NOT been able to stop listening to this band. Seeing them last night exceeded any expectations I could have had of a Live performance. They work amazingly well together, and are ALL monster musicians. Their sense of timing, chord structures, song writing, and improvisation skill are a breath of fresh air. They were, also, extremely grateful to the crowd, and took the time to meet people afterwords. I'd see them, again, in a heartbeat. Do not miss them if they come to your area.
This and overtime are the two hit songs the mainstream has failed to recognize. Sam and Rai kill it. Everyone else too! would just like to see them back for a new take.
Louis.... Your Rapid fire, Bass drum talent!..... Just Wow. Sam's sax on the "soft" parts almost sound like a Flute! Bass player, and keyboardist... ALL you guys are just Incredible!!
A lot of natural/harmonic minor with a tritone sub and then some overblowing stuff from what I can hear. Tone is really different but fits perfect with this thing, I wonder how much EQ went into that.
From these live sessions, I think this is the one where everyone pushes it next level. Rai's variety of synths are super fun, Louis almost explodes that closet, Sam on the sax super fun, Sam on the bass with those chunky chords, and Genevieve with great vocals. Have really enjoyed these tracks. Here's to more live sessions
I love Louis Cole so much. The music is amazing and he always adds hilarious little things into his videos. Like the edit at 1:21 on the computer screen.
1:41 As a drummer, I can confidently say this little kick drum fill is not as easy as Louis makes it look, definitely not. Especially for a poly instrumentalist.

I 'discovered' Clowncore a few days ago which bought me to Louis Cole, which bought me here. Been on a bit of a binge.....amazing riddims!

TIME TRAVELER LYRICS
[Verse 1]
Yeah I told ya
I couldn't wait to see ya
But the truth uh
I got some kinda amnesia
You crept up on me
Said you thought of me fondly
And finally since we let go
You're ready to say hello
[Pre-Chorus]
What did you hope to see
Coming to this place
Said you'd never call up
Now you're all up
In my face
In my face
In my face
In my face
[Chorus]
You're like a
Time traveler
You like to
Go backwards
You're like a
Time traveler
Running from
The future
Time Traveller!
Time Traveller!
[Verse 1]
This area
You made restricted
Off limits
Thought I would miss it
Before I ditched it
Dismissed it
Yeah I was timely
Put our fallout behind me
And after three years of living
You're asking to go back in
[Pre-Chorus]
What did you hope to see
Coming back to me
Are you satisfied now
Could you die now
Happily [x7]
Happi-
[Chorus]
You're like a
Time traveler
You like to
Go backwards
You're like a
Time traveler
Running from
The future
Running from
The future
Time Traveller!
