    New zealand will be fine without the flood of migrants. But some immigration advisors will definitely be suffering.

    Because majority of the migrant sadly are broke financially have Very LOW buying power as well, where as Singapore carefully select and allowed rich people to Get their PR either rich or super Smart. Or Marrying a Singaporean. 😅

    Immigration is needed for every developed country. But the real problem is a lot of people come to developed countries using loopholes who are actually not real contributors to the economy. Migration needs to be done on a way where every single person coming to the country contributes. Also they need to adapt to the country they are moving to.

      Immigration is a source of the cheap labour for every developed capitalist country and historically always was the foundation for creation of its wealth

    What is interesting is our productivity has been in a decline for a long time now, which goes along with our living standards. Is population increase helping this? No, if anything looks like it is doing the opposite.
