Our economy struggling with uncertainties, housing issues, foreclosures, global fluctuations, and pandemic aftermath, causing instability. Rising inflation, sluggish growth, and trade disruptions need urgent attention from all sectors to restore stability and stimulate growth.
In particular, amid inflation, investors should exercise caution when it comes to their exposure and new purchases. It is only feasible to get such high yields during a recession with the guidance of a qualified specialist or reliable counsel.
True, initially I wasn't quite impressed with my gains, opposed to my previous performances, I was doing so badly, figured I needed to diversify into better assets, I touched base with a portfolio-advisor and that same year, I pulled a net gain of $250k...that's like 3 times more than I average on my own.
There are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with Rebecca Lynne Buie for about 3 years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.

A big part of NZ issue, was allowing so many people in without proper planning , and flooding low skilled job markets. It's driven up demand for rent and housing, while at the same time lowered wages. Seems like a cheap trick to prop up GDP falsely through population growth while quality of life nosedives.

Extreme heat lol. It's a massive country with everything from alpine to tropical climates. Sydney and Melbourne themselves basically have southern Ontario summers, that's FAR from extreme heat. Silly comment.
The reason why groceries are so expensive in New Zealand is because the supermarket market is controlled by two powerful companies Woolworths and Foodstuffs.
Yep. Foodstuffs control 64% via 4Square, New World and Pak n Save. Plus a lot is imported unless you want to live on Watties baked beans, roast chook and local veggies.

Time is well overdue that we take our country’s back from these traitors who would sell out their own people for a few pieces of gold.
The truth is that NZ is fucked. It was a matter of time this will happen. There are 3 things that are critical for a decent life and sadly those are ruined here. 1- The chance of buying a first home, pretty impossible unless you’re millionaire. 2- Education. Is fucked. 3- The Health system, totally fucked. They don’t have qualified people here and health is extremely expensive. The previous government was a total disgrace to this country. They gave away residencies to people who don’t even speak English and are also unqualified, leaving international students who are well educated and getting degree level qualifications behind, fearing they would drop out if they were granted residency as well. Now all the educated people, both locals or foreigners just want to leave. If a country can’t provide that, is simply not a good place to be.
I live in NZ. Too many people coming in without the infrastructure to support the increase. Drives up the price of housing and electricity while decreasing the standard of living e.g. longer commute times, hospital waiting times etc.
National sold off the power companies and privatised it for profit. If we kept ownership we wouldn't be seeing the current black ours and infrastructure failures.
You should see how bad schools in New Zealand have gotten 😱 Our literacy and numeracy rates are plummeting because Labour let in thousands of people without enough space in the schools for all the new children.
Contrary to what you say, Ardern did a disgusting job during the COVID "pandemic". She locked the country down for no valid reason causing wide economic destruction from which the country is struggling to recover. Ardern would be the worst PM that NZ has ever seen. Moving to Australia is not a good move. Australia has a socialist government with excessive immigration from the Middle East which is causing division and has already made it impossible to buy a house to live in. The cost of living in Australia is on the rise through government inaction. The Australian economy has gone into recession because of the Albanese Labor government. Australia is also moving to renewables for power, walking away from coal and gas, and this is causing the cost of power to increase dramatically. Australia is in trouble and without a new government will slip into third world status within 10 years.
Spot on mate. I was born and raised in Melbourne and in the last 33 years of my life, Melbourne has gone worst with wokeism on the rise. Too many Middle Eastern and African immigrants destroyed the economy, relying on CentreLink payment, breeding like there is no tomorrow. The housing price is a joke mate. It's gone off the roof and housing affordability is a thing of the past. The Andrews Government destroyed Victoria, with draconian rules, and not to mention Melbourne had the longest COVID lockdowns, imposing difficulties and making people difficult to work. He also mandated the vaxx, vaxx passports, etc. Now, they are thinking of imposing digital ID as proposed by Bill Shorten. Australia, like NZ, is fucked beyond belief.
That no apparent reason killed millions and millions of people around the world, including more than 1 million Americans and almost Collapsed the entire health care systems of even the wealthiest countries in the world. It drove doctors and nurses to the breaking point and it could have been much worse if governments around the world had not taken the measures they did. It's unbelievable how more information and knowledge than ever is now available to more people than ever before and yet people have become more stupid than ever before. Try talking to a nurse or a doctor who lived through that nightmare and saw the carnage at the hospital, the dead bodies stacked up together, the freezers running out of rooms to put dead bodies, the scenes of people on the floor in the hospital halls, the dying nurses and doctors. Health care officials having to make makeshift hospitals in parking lots. You didn't see the carnage in person because society was still able to go on due to the hard work and sacrifice of so many public officials and healthcare providers. I dealt with many nurses as part of my job and you have no idea what they went through. Public officials like Arden did. They were trying to prevent the health care system around the world from collapsing. Had it done so people would have died of easily curable conditions and even the most easy to treat health situation would become a death sentence.

@@jonymanaythat's the big problem not only in New Zealand but also Australia and America where English teachers are Indians? Their big markets are India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, China and African countries.
This is a problem throughout the western world, governments have allowed mass immigration into all countries against its own people’s wishes , raising housing costs and suppressing wages , white people built these countries and the third world being allowed in will turn these countries into where they came from. Add the net zero scam, deindustrialisation and woke ideology turning natives into second class citizens in their own lands will only increase unrest. However fleeing to other countries is now not an option as all western countries are having the same demographic change. People will work hard to survive even if only a penny positive each month but once that becomes a penny negative with their institutions all set against them and pro immigrant only a backlash will ensue as in Britain recently which will be quelled by draconian lawfare for a while but the pressure cooker continues to boil. Western governments must change tack quickly or they will be replaced and fall like domino’s once the first is breached . I see peaceful separation as the hoped for option with immigrants returning with what they have made but if this does not happen I see a Yugoslavian type break up and all the variables that could involve.

I think we are seeing the slow death of global migration. People in lower income countries are tired of their government and societal behaviour and move to developed countries. People in developed countries are tired of economic strain of handling too much migrants. Thus leads to conflicts between locals and migrants too. Slowly every government in the world needs to work on multiple aspects within their country now so that most locals don't have to migrate. Gone are days where lower income countries government can hide behind some % of people working in developed countries and sending remittances.
We moved to Australia 20 years ago and didn't realised we were struggling when we lived back home, and our recent visit, I couldn't believe how everyone manages. The health centres , compared to when were home horrific, prices astronomical, food, rent, and petrol. Good try, troll. Ardern's popularity when she resigned due to a contrived social media hate campaign, was higher than the current PM's has ever been. Before the disinformation industry targeted her, she was our most popular PM in 100 years. She remains one of the most popular in our history. She is admired overseas and led NZ to be the only country that beat covid - until the outside world had infected itself so badly she had to give up.
Depends on your demographic. If you are jobless and poor and have no intention to work, you voted for her for welfare and 'freebies'. If you are midclass, usually a homeowner, got investments/business, then you hate her guts. Those ppl gain tax cuts from National govt. But both parties don't give a f@@k about people. They really only care about themselves.
Labour hired way too many public sector workers and ran up incredible debt with pie in the sky policies. National has to start cutting public sector fat to stop the debt bleed and reign in government spending. Labour cooked the books and screwed the economy.

On general summation, she was responsible for some laws that have paved the way for NZ to become a medical dictatorship the next time around. No, the reason why they flooded back was because they were faced with a situation that they thought was life-or-death, and they wanted to be where they felt their roots were. And many feared becoming trapped in lockdowns in foreign countries (many did become thus trapped). That they have left again, in an economic climate similar to the one in which they left the first time around, should come as a surprise to exactly nobody.

From January to June 2024, 80,200 citizens of New Zealand, 1.5% of the entire population, left the country, said the New Zealand Statistics Department on Tuesday. That is a high percentage but in terms of raw numbers not high. It should be noted New Zealand citizen did come home as well, for each 3 departures 1 arrived back. Overall new migration remains positive, so the country is not empting out. I suppose job opportunities is the main driver, the lockdowns did cause significant economic damage which the entire developed world is dealing with right now. New Zealand did lock down hard. As for being in recession or not, I suspect most of the developed world is in some form of recession. The way governments calculate inflation has changed a lot in the last 40 years and if we used the same methodology as we did in the 1980’s inflation is likely twice what the official rate is. That normally causes a lot of hardship.
Have you done a survey and asked those people why they are leaving NZ? Yes, the high cost of living, unemployment etc are correct but one important reason which is conveniently left out in public discussion for fear of retribution, etc is this. Correct 100% But it it's only a problem if you're poor. If you wasted your educational opportunities, then life will probably be crap, and you'll waste it buying lotto tickets and living in hope for your big day. Also NZ went into substantial debt paying to keep the economy going, during and after the lockdowns. Big box stores were allowed to remain open throughout but 1000's of "Ma and Pa" small businesses went under. Money supply was increased leads to inflation of goods, and services. Along with the economy stalling. Viola! Cost of living crisis.
Sure. Australia is looking for skilled workers. However, Australia is in the top ten most expensive places in the world to live. Our NZ cousins will not find relief here and won't have any expendable income left over simply for jumping across the pond.

Jabcinda ruined NZ. You cant shut down an economy - specially not such a small economy as ours - without creating a huge cliff where there is no output in the future when the money runs out. Same story - but worse in Oz where housing is even more unaffordable than here and a lot more competition due to even more imported humans - and no- you do not get an automatic work permit any more, you have to apply and wait a significant time. NZ is a crap place compared with other western countries. Communist like culture, parochial attitudes with people who aim for mediocrity in life. Those with any ambition go overseas. The local attitudes towards work, progress and life as a whole are the fundemental reasons for it's decline. I was talking to someone in Christchurch once about the lack of opportunities there and all I got was - "people are happy wanting nothing here". I heard that amongst other things and packed my bags and got out. Didn't want the kids growing up in that environment. Whoever comes into government regardless of the intentions will have a difficult time rectifying the problems because of the fundamental culture.

Health care officials having to make makeshift hospitals in parking lots.

The governments have allowed prices to escalate, because what one government does well the other destroys it.
“Someone did well”? Only for themselves 🤑
Stop telling everyone there are jobs in NZ and Australia, there isn’t. Everything costs a fortune and you can’t even rent a place. Go somewhere else. We were happy before you all came.
I left NZ in 2019. They locked me out for 29 months during COVID & I lost everything. I went back for a month earlier this year & it was the longest, most anxious month of my life. I don't know how I'll survive in SE Asia, but I never want to go back to NZ. Something your video failed to point out was how bad social division has become there with political correctness & Woke politics. That part was crazy- even in the middle of the countryside, people talk in whispers about vaccines & COVID. Jacinda Ardhern is a monster, she didn't handle COVID well at all, in fact I believe she broke the spirit of the country & is criminally accountable.
The opposite of woke is hate. Asia is welcome to you. Don't come back.

Labour hired way too many public sector workers and ran up incredible debt with pie in the sky policies. National has to start cutting public sector fat to stop the debt bleed and reign in government spending. Labour cooked the books and screwed the economy.
Thankfully one sane comment
Most mainstream media outlets have a blind spot towards political parties that enabled suicidal lockdown policies, whether these are right or left wing parties. Makes you wonder how free western countries really are, when policies copied from the CCP's playbook are considered sane by its media (who at the same time criticise China over all sorts of matters).
They have actually added to the debt to finance their tax cuts for high earners.

I don't know of anyone who went back to NZ because they thought Jacinta was handling the beer virus better than anyone else.
Kiwi here. The NZ salaries are low compared to high cost of living. I have to work 16hrs overtime every week if I want my income to exceed my rent by at least 50%. Small crimes are common here. From January to June 2024, 80,200 citizens of New Zealand, 1.5% of the entire population, left the country, said the New Zealand Statistics Department on Tuesday.
It has been 4 years since covid and pretty lame to still blame 2 months of lockdowns

why they are leaving NZ? Yes, the high cost of living, unemployment etc are correct but one important reason which is conveniently left out in public discussion for fear of retribution, etc is this. @@craigbritz1684
Only outside.
The RF has unlimited, cheap oil and gas to fuel all energy requirements. Its education system remains undamaged. Its economy is booming.
You're right about Russia.! Enormous economic potential and resources - massive
areas of land and low population...
Let them laugh if they like !! Uncontrolled immigration plus Welfare benefits for all
destroys every economy in the West !!
You’ve got some stupid bias, housing is much cheaper in Australia and cost of living is better
Shutting down NZ's only refinery was probably one of the most stupid ideas I've heard of out of all of this debacle.🙄
People have been using New Zealand as a stepping stone to Australia for decades.
Whatever side of politics you have in NZ and as much so in Australia and the UK, a government cheering on high and increasing house ptices ultimately undermines the productive economy. House price growth is just inflation that eats peoples wages for no good reason, yet that inflation is not included in inflation stats.
yes, Its like they hate the people
It's sad how difficult things have become in the present generation. I was wondering how to Utilize some money I had. I used some of it for e-commerce business, but that sank. I'm thinking of how to use what's left to invest, but I don't really know which way to go.
Yeah, things may be hard right now, but I've come to realize both bear and bull market, recessions and economic boom, all provide opportunities to make high gains, I used to call bluff on folks that bragged about making a fortune from such down-markets until I happened to do so myself.
Some economies, especially those heavily reliant on imports or those that experienced severe supply chain disruptions, are facing higher inflation rates. However, inflation dynamics can differ based on local economic conditions and policies
Governments might also adjust fiscal policies, such as reducing spending or changing tax policies, to manage inflationary pressures
Despite low unemployment rates, there are concerns about underemployment, wage stagnation in some sectors, and disparities in job quality
That's why it's crucial to stay informed and be proactive in managing our finances during these uncertain times. Seeking advice from financial experts can really make a difference
I read that last year 520 thousand migrants entered Australia.
and your point is!

This is good news,as we are ,and have been dealing with too many people,
Schools,hospitals,motorways,all overcrowded.
Good idea to live some where else.
Everyone is fleeing like shit but Earth already shit place
It’s a wonderful day in NZ today be happy 😃 😃🇳🇿 interest rates going down, inflation going down, summers coming fantastic 👏👏👏
@janbrown9195 Agree 💯 Best country on the planet😊😊
earth is a SHIT place because THEY cause it to be a shit place and then go live underground.
Whoever comes into government regardless of the intentions will have a difficult time rectifying the problems because of the fundamental culture.
thank fuk you left
Westerners love to label anything bad as "communist", but "communist" China is a fűkïng paradise. Don't insult my China communism!
You can even sue for libel in NZ 🇳🇿 if you feel like the blind item is pertaining to you even though you are not named. Some democracy 😂
You try and find another place with the outdoor opportunities and variety NZ has - there aren't that many in the whole world!
@@chrisj8764 Trouble is only 5% of the population can afford to enjoy the outdoors .
She was hated by the people of nz britain is heading in worst direction
Wishful thinking from the wacked out right wing minority
I have been to NZ a few times for holidays. I love the landscape especially the South Island. For me it is a good country to spend a few weeks, but not to live there. The great thing is the NZ$ has depreciated against the Singapore$ making it more affordable for me to visit NZ.
Generally the climate is hostile They tout it as Mediterranean . A land for morons with a rugby ball and broken teeth .
It's depressing .
NZ really is a mess, people are suffering from sickness with no options to seek immediate medical attention. Rent costs is outrageous vs income and power and grocery bills are unrealistic. Our fair country has fallen apart. RIP NZ
Indians are hard working but a lot of them do send their earnings back home to family so I don’t see how this really benefits NZ. NZers moving to Oz obviously earn more but it’s not always grass is greener for everyone.
If they have family back there then they can send money back of their salary , it's normal.
Government collects taxes from immigrants too, both direct & indirect.
@@Skywalker993 yeah sure, but the whole point of immigration is to benefit the host country, with skills and knowledge and wealth. However it's not happening like that.
@danielxbox28 how do you think migrants can afford to sustain themselves here? Being a migrant of 20 yrs myself, I managed to but my house after 15 yrs. It was very difficult and now we can't upgrade. It is a challenging country to get ahead
@@danielxbox28 everything have its own pros and cons but most of them come to host country's for settle there so after some period they began to give full benefit to host country .
This will drop house demand. House prices will drop. Yeah! - Education and Hospitals are struggling for staff so a drop in population will help with stress.
I don't think housing prices will drop. In south africa so many people left (around 950000 US$ millionaires, teachers, doctors etc) and housing prices are still high. So many empty lovely houses in suburbs and so many homeless people, most people can't afford them, they want cheap govt homes, but the government is useless and isnt building. I brought my house in 2007 and and the value of my property keeps raising
A drop in population? It’ll just lead to more Indians, Chinese and Filipinos flooding into the country. New Zealand is farked.
They need the populations taxes to pay for the education and health. That’s how it works or its user pays on top of taxes.
More people arrived here than left. Do some homework.

It’s getting to expensive. Can afford anything anymore. I’m working my ass of for just the minimum rate.
That the product of advertising, New Zealand, Australia, America now flooded with Indians, Nepalis, Pakistani, Bangladesh, Africans and even Chinese. Big revenue for the government and also schools but the impact soon your schools will be replaced by Indian teachers that only read books without any practical exposure. Very sad happening 😭😞😢
Indians are better than all others you mentioned
New Zealand's education system is already in a bad state. You can see the recent news about their Prime Minister's comments on education. It couldn't get any worse
