Minor fun fact for those who don't know about the HKS 180SX inclusion: Gran Turismo 2 was going to have drag racing, long before GT7, and this (along with a drag Skyline & Intrepid) was one of the remnants.
Ikr. The 2+2 GTs get no love despite being some of the best Ferraris ever. The 612 and FF used to be my favorites. The moment a new model is made, games suddenly drop the old ones. Could you imagine if they did that with the mid engined V8 Ferraris (minus the, for whatever reason, unloved 348)? There'd be riots in the street.
@@SockyNoob The 348 is unloved because it's a piece of junk. It was catastrophically slow even for its time and overall terrible. The 355 was a much needed improvement over the horror that was the 348.
EXTRA FACTS · The AMR1's engine being a Callaway V8 has led some to believe that a Corvette-like Group C was planned at some point · The Buick Super Mk2 shared the platform with a whole lot of GM products and all versions were powered by a mediocre straight-8 that made just above 105hp · The DeSoto S10 shared the platform with a whole lot of Chrysler products and all versions were powered by a semi-decent straight-6 that made around 110hp · The Ford Mustang SVO was so bad and underpowered that it is still nicknamed "SLO" · The Camaro SS Mk6 is offered with a LT1 engine making over 460hp and you can get it with a 6-speed manual or an automatic with 8 or 10 gears depending on the model year
Nice facts for anyone who actually cares about the cars. Rather than caring on showcasing emulators, games run on and, now, deals with Instant Bullshit.
Csr2 has the most unique cars of all time, EVEN SPECIAL EDITION ONES such as dodge charger rt "captiv" (i think) yet they are all behind an goddam paywall. What a unique game destroyed by money
It's worth noting the 456 was only available for the PC version of NFS III, and even then you had to download it from the NFS website. Thankfully it and the game's other official DLC cars (like the Lister Storm and Jaguar XKR) are still available through third-party sites.
Idk how many cars in LA noire are unicorns but one car I know that has never appeared I officially in any other game is the tucker torpedo, it does however appear unofficially I mafia 2 and road trip adventure
Even irl it is one, it exists, but only a few seen it irl. M3 sedans, especially those of the last 15 years, are rare I was lucky enough to see by my eyes a Cupra Formentor Vz5
@daki7070 I mean the BMW M3 isn't an obscure car from an obscure brand you know, you wouldn't expect the BMW M3 to be so rare in racing games but here we are I suppose.
The SVO mustang, was featured in two other games actually, one not being so much a "normal" game, but still. As it was also featured in Top Drives & Ford Mustang: The Legend Lives. Still nice to see the SVO in some game, i'll say

I'm still salty that Toyota doesn't use their GT300 Prius as a GT3 contender. That V8 is pretty amazing. Other than that there's also the Supra GT300 that would be amazing in GT3. Or maybe something even crazier like their Camry GT300
@doctortwilight @@Thecaptain0mmega That is the 1997 version based on the 996, which is used in most racing games. The one shown in the video is the first version from 1996 based on the 993.

It's kinda crazy the 456 has appeared only once in game
Super forgotten about Ferrari, even the weird prototypes get a couple of games

Now i noticed NFS 3 it's the only game with the licensed 456 GT. This car appeared on Cruis'n World but it's unlicensed.
EXTRA FACTS

· The Buick Super Mk2 shared the platform with a whole lot of GM products and all versions were powered by a mediocre straight-8 that made just above 105hp

· The Camaro SS Mk6 is offered with a LT1 engine making over 460hp and you can get it with a 6-speed manual or an automatic with 8 or 10 gears depending on the model year
The SVO wasn't underpowered at all. The V8 Foxbodies were terribly underpowered and the SVO's inline 4 matched that horsepower rating.

In 1986 a sole corvette gtp entered the event(lemans) but never started.

Extra notes: The Naran is also available in Asphalt Legends Unite (Formerly Asphalt 9)
The Naran Hypercoupe came from China, but it’s designed in Germany and UK.
If you would run out of less-known cars officially in racing games, I have a suggestion: Obscure car mods for racing games :)
The SVO is also in the Ford Mustang game

I recommend pause the video.

That is an unofficial game mod, not an official game. Therefore, it does not count for this video series.
