Russia was not allowed in NATO because there needs to be a boogeyman for the Military Industrial Complex to produce endless wars and profits. The central banking system also benefits from such wars.

This is incredibly naive, as the interviewee said later in the interview (around 10:15), Putin believed that Russia was stronger than any other European power. Collectively though, NATO was stronger. So if Russia joined NATO it would create ambiguity in the face of two nato members going to war, thereby serving Russias interests and lowering the war deterrent…

Ukraine had no more of a problem with far-right minorities than many other Eastern block countries - including Russia.
This idea of Ukraine being full of Nazis is moronic. Russia is a vastly more violent country than Ukraine and that is borne out by every action Russia has carried out against many of its neighbours. Russia today is far closer to a Nazi run country than any other country in Europe.

Put Moscow KGB leaders in charge of cities, not people from Donetsk or Lugansk. 4 thousand Russian solders were killed in Donetsk region. Heavy artillery were hidden behind houses, sometimes different groups of cowards were firing in each other and blamed Ukraine for it. There are a lot of videos. The long term goal of the US, regardless of who is the president, is to cut European peninsula (aka the west) from Eurasia heartland (aka Russia) as a union of those geographical area would create an unstoppable power.
Ukraine (and Georgia, to a lesser extent) is the most strategic place on that aspect as it is closed to Europe and open toward Asia (the pizza slice). It is of vital interest to Russia that Ukraine remains militarily neutral or pro Russian. There will never be “Ukraine in NATO”.
Current war is a 100% US war against Europe (not only Russia).

Oh my... I think Arestovych is trying to be objective but he truly over-complicates things. He layers a lot of different myths and emotional motivations to explain something that is a lot more straightforward. You don't need to. The story is extremely simple: Russia in the early 2000's, already under Putin, really wanted to be integrated into the West and European architecture specifically. That would include NATO, all sorts of security and economic arrangements. It was very forthcoming and making all sorts of concessions. The West, and we speak about the US here, and specifically - the neocons of the Nuland brand, wanted something entirely different. They did not want a strong, integrated and influential Russia in Europe (especially if it had strong ties with Germany), that would spell a massive reduction of the US influence in the region. They wanted Russia to be excluded, cornered, be the ever-present "enemy" that justifies the existence of NATO, then an eventual regime change, break the country up into a dozen or two of smaller vassal states, get control over the resources, happy ending, end of story.
European leaders who wanted to have good relations with Russia were all "regime changed" for globalist of the Macron type. And then you have the juicy piece of real estate - Ukraine. Fertile lands, tonnes of resources, huge (by European standards), access to Black Sea, Crimea - the control point over Black Sea. So you have a coup in 2004, then you have the 2008 "Ukraine will be in NATO" bit, then the coup in 2014. Pair that with the US's withdrawal from the ABM treaty, the two military bases in Romania and Poland. Even an imbecile would see where this was going. 2014 was when it became obvious that the US was going full in. Regime change in Kiev, establishment of severely anti-Russian nazzi-backed government, civil war. Then the Minsk agreements that were the last straw - the Merkel and Hollande (and Poroshenko) blatantly lied and deceived Putin. In December 2021 Russia made the last-ditch effort to negotiate with NATO and was told to get lost. The SMO in 2022 was inevitable.
The notion that Russia always wanted to conquer Ukraine out of revenge or something like that is pure speculation with zero facts that could back it up.
This has nothing to do with emotions and all that nonsense. Do not look for complex explanations for what is a classic power and security competition between the great powers.
After all, as Lord Ismay, NATO's first Secretary General said, NATO's purpose is to "keep the US in, the Soviet Union out, and Germany down".

You have to remember that there is no one Ukraine. It is more like two of them, western and eastern. Ukrainians are mostly mixed with Russians, and on the East there are actually russian territories, that have never in history belonged to Ukraine and mostly Russians live there. They were not interested in joining NATO and separate them from relations with Russia. Moreover, after Maidan coup in 2014, which was inspired and financed by the US, (Victoria Nulands's leaked conversation), ukrainian nationalists, praising Stepan Bandera and OUN-UPA came to power, and they tried to "ukrainisate" the East and Crimea which led to revolt in these regions and situation we have today. That's in a nutshell.

Arestovych is one piece of work. Changing his shoes mid-air jumping. He was one of the fiercest warmongers when Ukraine was discussing peace in the beginning of the war, calling Russians all names, now he suddenly is changing his views as russia wins. Be extremely careful about this guy, he's got no principles and says only things that are to his own personal advantage. He used to be Zelensky's counselor, then Zelensky fired him for non-public reasons. He's a shady shady man.

Aristovich - “Lusya” - be careful watching him, and listening what he say, he is a very VERY slimy individual, who “changes his shoes” frequently! Lying is in his character, though now and then he has “sober” moments and he says truth. He talks about “Butcha” is Ukrainian region, where Ukrainian regime created a scene 🎬 bringing dead people on one of the streets, some of them were not dead at all, it was a set up, and later , blamed Russia for it. Aristovich - this guy next to , worked closely with Zelensky, he did not get what he wanted- a few free properties, and the financial benefits, Aristovich started hating Zelensky. Eventually Zelensky kicked him out from the government and Aristovich moved to the states . Here in the states Aristovich has his own podcasts , where he meets with Ukrainian supporters - and that’s when Aristovich say - “Slava Ukraine, and he meets those who are against the war - then Aristovich talks about Ukrainians being as “stupid as geese” and Zelensky is a war criminal.
