Der Verbrauch ist ja der Hammer bis 120 km/h
Ab 120 kmh auch, allerdings andersherum. Den bei 160 kmh unterbietet zum Beispiel selbst mein fast 30 Jahre alter Sechszylinder - Ottomotor.

It‘s not linear. If you go like that, the consumption at 60km/h should be 3l and at 20km/h at 0. It does not work that way
Because the cw x A becomes then very relevant, and SUV have bad ones.

Think your range calculations are off. Does it not have a 93 litre fuel tank? 10 l/100 km is not 650 km range
It has 65 liter fuel tank, is smaller, every brand new cars will have smaller fuel tank than previous generation, they want reach lower WLTP fuel consumption and save some weights or so
big suv and only 65 liter fuel tank and consumption pretty high above 140kmh
it eats 3-5 liter more fuel then touareg 286hp on higher speeds
Nah, that's wrong.
To see the correct average fuel consumption you have to drive a bit longer with constant speeds, and not only 1km like in the video.
The German Magazine Auto Motor Sport compared both cars, the consumption was 11,4 Touareg vs. 11,9 GLE. ("sporty" driving).
Who cares about consumption when you pay +50000 euro on a car?
Factor in the typical VW huge error on the fuel consumption trip computer and that'll narrow down to something negligible. More importantly, in the new, more-realistic WLTP cycle the GLE is nearly a whole litre per 100km better on fuel than the Touraeg. Judging an entire car solely on fuel consumption claimed by a computer that may or may not be lying to you at a constant speed for 1km like you always do is questionable but will always lead you to believe that VW is best. Don't get me wrong, their engines are very efficient, but not that efficient IRL
@@CheesemanGT it doesnt have nothing to do with error on computer or wltp!! basically both on merc and touareg lies but not for so much so again 3-5 liter on higher speeds differents!!

Also was sich Daimler bei den kleinen Felgen bzw. Reifen gedacht hat, ist mir bis heute ein Rätsel. Passt gar nicht zum GLE....

Und es gibt Leute die auf Optik pfeifen und aus Komfortgründen die hohen Reifenflanken wollen.
