Thankx for this, but your explanation is very incomplete, you mention nothing about the song's original writer, Fred Lewey, who's original lyrics are the most historically accurate, his version does not indicate the length of the Lima grade or the speed of the train on the grade & does not claim the train "jumped"

It's not Center, it's supposed to be Spencer. Lima was a resupply depot.
