How to cut an anime style fringe on a wig - Asuna Yuuki's wig tutorial

I find cutting the fringe of a wig is one of the most difficult parts of a cosplay. In this video I show you how I cut anime style wigs. This time I cut the fringe for my Asuna Yuuki cosplays.

Unfortunately this wig was a present so I am not sure where it came from. Can you do this with real hair?

Honestly, I wouldn't try it. The only reason it works with wigs is because you set it in place with heat and hairspray. You can't do this with your hair every day and it would just look messy. The best thing to do is to go to the hairstylist and ask for advice if you are looking for a similar haircut. It still wouldn't last as your hair grows pretty quickly.
