I am a guitar newbie in Korea. I needed some information about that guitar, so I searched TH-cam and came across your video. So, thanks to that, I purchased this guitar relatively cheaply through Japan, a nearby country. I also compared it to several guitars, but I liked the KRYS10 model with Pickguard more, and the pickup seemed to sound better to me. Even though I went to the store to see this guitar in person, I was initially concerned that it was the signature model of a certain famous musician, so I couldn't decide to buy it. There seems to be relatively little information about this guitar on various TH-cam channels. Even though it is the signature guitar of Polypia, currently the most famous team! Then I came across your video and as a result I decided to buy this guitar. I really appreciate the way you change the pickup switches to make them sound. Thank you for making good videos every time. Please continue to show us a lot of good videos. (I'm sorry my English is so bad. ㅠㅠ)
Honestly the only reason I like Tim's guitar more is because his is silver lol But Scott's signature sounds good. Would not be mad at all to get one for free 👀
I'll be brutally honest: the gold nuances of this guitar are what's keeping me from buying it. It played like a dream and I loved the pick ups but can't stand the overall look. The gold body color is okay on its own, but it would have been better if they went for something simpler with the rest of it. Unicolor gold like the TOD10 did with silver, no pickguard (especially not one that has glitter/pearl in it) and maybe a more white-gold-ish bridge, knobs and tuners instead of "my sisters tacky fake-gold earrings from H&M" color. It looks gaudy, something I'd go on stage with as a hair metal guitarist in the 80s, but not in 2024. I'll probably get the pickups and put them in a prestige or something
This is usually how I feel about gold hardware, but something about this guitar, there's so much gold that the gold seems less gold to me, I dunno haha
I feel like one of the only people who actually likes this one more than the TOD10... Got to try this bad boy out at (a different) Musicworks and honestly I like the pickups much more than Tim's Also do think it looks quite nicer - only downside for me is that it's made from swamp ash (Ibanez wouldn't care to select light blanks for anyways) so it's quite hefty
Yeah I feel like the TOD10 is a bit bland, I wasn’t super into the aesthetic or the inlays. Didn’t get much chance to test it though coz someone bought it almost immediately! Haha
@@richardclarkmoore I ended up getting it off a person on trademe a few months later for around 2000 xD That being said, I do regret it even though it was nearly half price ToT (Was looking for an HH guitar with a floating bridge and that was the best option that showed up) Generally speaking though I feel like half of the pickup selections are just very oddly specific sounding or gimmicky and don't really work that well outside of Tim's newer stuff The Fishman Classics do a much better job at being all-rounder pickups for me at least
got to try one in a guitar center when i was in texas (im canadian we dont have guitar center) funny enough i have a tod10 on the way but i was not dissapointed by the krys10 very well speced for the price also a lot lighter then i thought also very versatile even if u dont like polyphia this is still a great guitar for any genre that is cheaper than most of the AZs for the spec and price
@@richardclarkmoore high 7th fret on the low e and another past the 14th, even after a truss rod adjustment. Didn't pop up until a few months after I had it. Still a great guitar though, feels about as good as my suhrs

I’m so happy I could help! And don’t worry, your English is fine 👌 Much better than my nonexistent Korean!
True. I don't care.
😂😂😂

Tim’s guitar I think is too silver! But it was still a nice gat for sure

Ibanez has created some great guitars. I have one from 2002 that was built in Japan.
The made in Japan ones are great 👌
I like Ibanez's necks because they are thin. Its what makes them special to me.
This one probably ain't for you then mate!
What's the name of the song you played in the intro at around 0:20?
I just improvise all the riffs, saves me from getting hit with copyright ;)
Hey can please recommend
7 string floy Rose with under 1800 dollars ?
Purpose is :-
Metal
Drop c tunning
Shred / riff
Ibanez has an rg for around 700. U can find them on reverb
@WarrenM9 I second this, second hand RG is probably the way to go
I think it's just a thing with your shop, because the KRYS10 is often sold out in stores just like the TOD10...
Good to know, maybe it’s a NZ thing?
its alright. i just dont feel comfortable spending that much when it cost almost as much as my MIJ AZ
Fair enough, gotta be worthwhile eh

That's hilarious! thanks for proving my point :P
love my Japanese AZ (although the frets had some issues at first) but I can't imagine paying so much for a MII guitar.
What were the fret issues? I’m curious

Nice Axe, Great Playing..
Thanks mate!
Cool guitar
Absolutely is
I like it. I think it’s way cooler than Tim Henson’s guitar.
I knew there’d be at least one!
is the tapping section of ur demo a real song already?
Nah, almost everything I play I just improvise while recording, it’s a nice riff though!
Ive always found scotts guitars way more tasteful
I couldn't tell you what any of his other signature guitars look like, I'll have to take your word for it!
i think he meant his playing

If you can't sell them why did you have to get one lent out to you?😉
I didn’t have to, I wanted to! Guitars need love okay? Hahaha
