Maybe thats true for hammers, but longswords do have dif range in MHFU. Which is mainly why I stick to Wyvern blade. Its the longest one next to Akantor blade.

I'm a stage where the hammer is the weapon i'm most adept with now and most HR9 quests are a breeze with magnitude and chaos order. I'm still in quite the predicament when it comes to Rajang however, Much for the same reason you've stated about the positioning being crucial, i always seem to be slightly misaligned and trust me it's more infuriating then having missed completely. Ergo i always end up playing it safe and completing the mission with like 30 minutes left rather than 43 say.
@Monkeywithagun65 If it's lower. Bow it, just run around it clockwise and spam a bow when it finishes an attack. It's really easy to get the hang of it lol.

Diablos Chaos Order, Attack = 1508 with defense +20 a good hammer but not the most powerful methinks that goes to either: Magnitude, if your armour has the skill Reckless Abandon+2 OR Ukanlos Crusher, if your armour has Reckless Abandon+3 can't remember dont have my psp on me hope this helps

@person720 let see if u plannin to do this u prob unlcok akantor village quest already so get his armor for it defense or get narga due to it "roll" or get monoblos if u like to havae decent defesne and attk up
Need tips on how to k.o. golden rajang. Hes much bigger and harder to k.o. Ive tried several times but he just takes hit after hit. I end up breaking both horns and killing him, but still no k.o.

coincidentally that's the exact same set of equipment i use except i augmented it with ra+1 instead of sharp sword as it's good to have a few crits once in a while :P. Nice video anyway

Rajang is a pain in the ass due to his high speed but he really easy to dodge because he so freaking tall all u need to do is roll under his hind leg >.< hope this help some peoples

the way i finish the quest is i weakend the first one and let second one kill him.(Also took me 3 trys)
