Cold Lake Lakers at the Marina in January

Got out again for another day on Cold Lake, AB with a channel subscriber turned friend John.
We got out on his new snow machine and he had a fun day fishing and ripping around the lake playing with his new toy.
Some fish were caught and some tips for lakers included
Cold Lake Lakers at the Marina in January are either on fire or slow. Fishing pressure there can slow things down.

Good vid.. Chartreuse seems to be a colour the lakers love.. Really like those jigs.. Were those 3/8 oz or 1/2???

I’ve been a huge chartreuse fan since 2013. Wow. 10 years now. Those were 3/8oz but had a 4/0 hook on them

You can but have a friend. Got back yesterday from a Weekend trip and there’s still a lot of surprise flood water hidden. Feb 11/12.

It was fun to get out. Season closes March 31st but depends on ice conditions
