I love you guys. I just found out that there is a diagnosis that includes the biggest symptom I have - the lack of sense of personhood and identity except when I'm living through others, or other things.
I didn't see anyone that could possibly see how dreadfully transparent or chameleon-like I feel.
I didn't realize myself how bad this main symptom was within. Because while I was contained, I thought that this was the real me. And then i thought this was the real me. And then this is the real me. And then some more confusion, and then maybe this is really me.
Finding you guys days after I realized other people have this incredibly painful lack of self identity is amazing. Thank you guys.

Thank you for doing a chat on parenting 💕 I’ve got two under 3 and the guilt and shame over felt for how I parented at the start has been hard to process. Seeing other mums on the journey is so reassuring and less isolating.

I love the “What if….” mantra idea. I have a difficult time with mantras because, as Georgette said, it feels like I’m lying to myself and it almost backfires. But the “what if” preface I think could definitely help.
