What is the Luminous Flux Method or Lumen Method for Calculating Light Levels?

- Continuing the series of lighting videos we look at the luminous flux method, also known as the lumen method, for finding out how much lighting is required to illuminate a space to the correct level. We cover the coefficient of utilisation (utilisation factor) and the maintenance factor and look at what each part of the formula means.
These videos are aimed at learners studying electricity on any course and will help those studying the City and Guilds 2365, 5357 Apprenticeship, 7202 and 8202 courses as well as the EAL Diploma in Electrical Installation.
