It looked like you didn't mask the fingerboard or stain it. how do you keep it from getting stain spots?

I think it was. Considering using trans tint powdered dye on mine.

I have a Martin style 2 1927.
And the finish is getting bad.
Because i play it every day, i like to give the finish a new life.
Before i think they put nitrocellulose on the ukelele.
What do you recomend to use on my Martin.
