Improvisation on my new telecaster!

- I recently bought this lovely telecaster and I am slowly getting used to it. It’s made from different parts I found myself. The neck is from Allparts and the body from guitargandhi.dk in Aalborg. The pickups are a Lollar Goldfoil in neck and a Lollar 52 T in bridge. Sounds and plays incredible! Check it out
Beautiful playing. Please post more videos of your playing.

Lovely harmony. It would be a hit formula concept if youd talk us through the shapes and scales etc you are using and what you are thinking in terms of movement... Superb playing and love that tone !

You are very talented
Thanks a lot!
Thanks ! It reminds me of some period from the 70s, a time I didn't live through because I wasn't born yet 😃
@@V.Costa-0 Haha! Glad to hear that. The 70’s had some of the most beautiful sounds in my opinion. Thanks!
Yo!! how did you learn to improvise like that with voice leading? giving julian lage vibes
That’s a good question. Don’t really have an answer for it. It just slowly came to me after many years of playing less convincing stuff. Most of the stuff I play is actually pretty simple, but you can do a lot with frasing and timing
Hearing some julian lage!
Congratulations
Thanks!
Awesome. And I'm wearing the same pants right at this moment 🤣
@@andyb5541 Thanks! Haha! That’s where the tone comes from 🤙🏻

Crushhhhhn!!!
sounds great bro
Thank you!
Not so big on rosewood on teles, but that playing my man. That is 10/10 as always!
Thank you so much! I prefer rosewood for sure. Sold my custom shop telecaster because I couldn’t live with the maple fretboard haha!
@ Yeah, the Fender neck debate is always a little polarizing 😄.
always good!!
@@hifi_man Thank you!
nice
sounds like Pat harmonies
Hi Casper!
Your touch on the Instrument is incredible. The note choises are just beautiful. After watching I think all of your Videos I thought I have to thank you for that pieces :)
Sometimes you hat that Glitch/Pitch Shifting Effect that I really loved :)
Have you ever tried the Hologram Microcosm? I thought it would fit those sounds quite well sometimes :)
Would be really interested what you think about this thing :)
I hope i can see you play live in the future. Have you planned playing in Germany someday again? :)
Greetings from Mainz, Germany
Thanks so much for the kind words! I actually never tried the Microcosm, but I only hear good things about it!
I am occasionally playing in Berlin now and then, but I would love to play more in Germany!
@ Thanks for your Response :) I‘ll check your Events !
Is there any chance of tanking some lessons with you?
@@justusnixdorf Sounds good. Yes sure, feel free to send me an email on casper-hc@hotmail.com. Happy new year!

wooooowww!!!
Too young to be a Great Guitarist, but he already is!
Absolutely amazing ! Do you have any tips on how to learn to improvise this way or how you got to this level?
I need some response to this too!!
Thank you! Listen to what you play and reflect on why you play it. Make sure to leave out some space for the music to breath - you can actually have good and bad time feel even though you’re not playing in time
Love your playing! I’d love to know what essential music theory concepts you use whenever you improvise?
Thank you! There’s not a lot to it actually. I think a lot in the modes of the major scale and the different dominant chords belonging to the different steps
v bruno major-esque bravo
sjukt najs! :D älskar ditt spelande riktigt riktigt bra! :D
@@Linusknöös Tusind tak! 🙏🏻
who woud you say are your biggest influences? lage and Frissell maybe?
Frisell, Lage Lund, Jakob Bro, Pedro Martins, Andy Shauf, Mac DeMarco etc!
