You did an awesome job testing these sofas. I could never purchase a sofa online without going in the store and trying it out in person. I need to know how high it sits, how firm it is (I don't like sinking into a sofa), the sturdiness, etc. I need to sit on it, recline, get a feel of the arm rests, the works... overall quality.

Thank you for the information! We are currently looking for a new sofa. We had a lazy boy for about 15 years. Great quality. Not a reclining sofa. And the cushions held up until probably about five years ago. For me not only the quality of how it’s made but the cushions are to me one of the biggest factors and what type of couch I will purchase. I want a 2.0 to 2.5 density quality memory foam cushion- We may go with another La-Z-Boy but they are quite expensive if I could find something in a cheaper price range with a high quality cushion definitely would go that route
Wow this could not have been more spot on! I was contemplating 3 of these sofas. I’ve had a cloud knock off before similar to CB2 but don’t remember the actual brand. I will say it flattened out over time and feathers came out like CRAZY

Our $2200 West Elm sofa is creaking and making all kinds of noise after a few months. Apparently Havertys offer a hardwood or possibly metal frame but the fabrics are not as good or protective as Pottery Barn, RH etc I’m in NC but so many brands have 20-30 week lead times….still! Any suggestions?

Thank you Jessica! Seriously, I am looking at purchasing the Harmony Sofa from West Elm. I've hesitated because most everything is special order, making the wait time several months - ugh. And, if I am not happy with the sofa, I cannot return it. I think that I'll take the plunge and get the Harmony :) Thanks again!
I looked at a lot of sofas and they all have crazy wait times 😩 but before you know it you’ll have your sofa. Just make sure you’re able to return the sofa before you purchase it. Good luck!
Thanks! Still looking for a comfy and more shaped sofa. Cloud is.too messy and informal for me. Any suggestions on more straight and shaped set? This makes your home look messy for my tate.
The cozy cloud like sofas are in so you’re going to see it a lot. The axis from Crate & Barrel is a more tailored sofa. All the stores I mentioned also have tailored sofas. I hope that helps
I’m so glad you found it helpful. My favorite is the West Elm Harmony sofa/sectional. It’s really comfy, modern and stylish. The cost for a performance fabric is also reasonable. My second favorite is the Lotus, I just wished the back cushions were a little higher...oh and the price for a performance fabric is a bit much
They have nice sofas as well. Hopefully some of the things I mentioned in the video are helpful so you know what to look for in a sofa. Depth, height, fabric and reviews are definitely essential. Good luck ❤️
What color is the middle linen fabric material for the westelm harmony couch? I am looking into either the performance linen or performance basketweave alabaster. I can't make up my mind with so many fabric options and colors :(
That was actually super helpful! Thanks for doing this video. Have been looking for a modern sectional with an angled wedge and noticed the Axis II had that. Thanks so much!
Thank you! I was actually considering the West Elm Harmony, so I found this review very helpful. The only problem is deciding between just the sofa with ottoman or sectional with chaise, as well as the fabric. I love the luxe boucle, but it's not a performance option. I will go back to the store and check out the sunbrella performance slub tweed in white.
Thank you for this video! Very informative. I’m on a mission looking for a good quality comfortable sofa and I stumbled on the harmony west elm; however I hear the shipping is outrageous… shipping is over two months wait time .., I’ve been patiently searching but don’t think I can sit on blow up bed any longer! Hmmm
Wait times are crazy everywhere 😭 look into the Marin at West Elm. It’s a smaller sectional and I believe there’s no wait depending on the fabric you choose. I would also check out the outlets if you have any near you.
Not sure if American Signature is all over (it’s also called Value City Furniture in the North East) but they have 3 cloud sofa dupes one is called the Cordelle sectional ($3300) the Cozy 5 pc sectional ( $3200) the Cozy 3 pc sofa ($1800) and the Plush 5 pc ($3700) 6 pc( $3600) the 4pc($3000) I would advise anyone to look on line at them then go to the actual store and sit on them because I went to the store first and only liked one but didn’t think to get the name of it, I looked it up online and they all look the same now I have to go back and sit on them again and find out which one I liked
That West Elm Harmony sofa looks perfect! The low-back, low profile ones really limit accessibility- seem too low to sit in (only for lounging) and no one with knee, hip, etc. issues will be able to get up! My family is tall, so the Harmony looks great. I love the look of the wood legs adding a little space and air (and better for tall people). Overall the sofas in this style look like the cushions are so thin compared to what I've had. So it's god to know you thought they were comfy! Great video- thanks!
Lisa you are spot on for people with knee problems. I personally don’t like low to the floor sofas. The Marin sofa is perfect and you can get off the sofa without having brave yourself
Love the details in this video, thank you for this, but what I am really curious about is the wooden cabinet shown behind you in this video? It is beautiful, where would I find this piece?
Hi Jessica, I just stumbled upon your channel!! I am going to subscribe as soon as I finish my comment. Surprisingly, I was just in West Elm and fell in love with the Harmony Modular! This store had the oyster color on display!! OMG!! My only concern was whether over time the sofa would start to sit too low to the floor. I don’t like sofas that sit like that! Bad for my back. Really glad to find your channel because when in the store the associate didn’t mention that the sofa could be configured to sit a little higher off the floor! I live in a fairly decent size apartment...the living room dining area are combined so I was happy about being able to use this sofa whether in a larger or smaller space. I’m going to go see it again and make a decision. Appreciate your review and your honesty. Have an awesome weekend.
Great video! Im looking into a mod sofa, the PLUSH, by American Signature. Its a more affordable one with many fabric options, and 2 types of filling...feather and core. Id like your opinion on this one.😊

Oh, Jessica, you just touched the surface for decisions. What blend of down/feathers ? What high performance qualities are for you with fabric selection. You do a disservice by recommending without mentioning another valued option...an Interior Designer.

Problem for me is being 5'7.5".. and having run about 30 miles a week when young, and having subsequent hip and knee surgeries... I am fine but I can't sit in a low seat. So I have wasted hours looking at couches which are too low. My new wicker patio chair seats are 22" off the ground without the cushions. I like to easily sit and get up and down from a sofa without a bungee cord. This means the seat height from the floor, comfortably would be a minimum of 20" with semi firm cushions, and if they are squishy, not providing proper support they need to be 22" off the ground! Happily European furniture gives this measurement, but most US furniture manufacturers don't! Interestingly with an aging population, this is critical due to the frequency of hip and knee surgeries (I've had both). Consider how difficult it would be for anyone taller than I am! It may explain the popularity of counter height tables and chairs. If I go to a Dr.'s office, hair salon, whatever, if the seat is too low I don't sit down; or I go to my car and ask them to call me! I don't limp, and appear to walk easily and fluidly, and I am not limping, using canes, nor do I present as disabled! However, when sitting in a low seat I am in so much pain and misery! Time companies woke up to the health needs of an aging population when it comes to designing and selling furniture.
Thanks this was really helpful. I've been eyeing the Dresden Modular Sectional for a few weeks now. I wanted to love it, but with only being able to view online it's challenging to get a real feel for it. I love the way they combined style and comfort, however with a household of 6ft plus people, I think it may be too low and not deep enough. Canada is just a bit far to travel from California to see a couch in person. The search continues!

It took me forever to finally make a decision on the configuration and fabric 😅. Take your time and you’ll pick the right one
Google West Elm delivery before you buy. You’re welcome
Not sure if American Signature is all over (it’s also called Value City Furniture in the North East) but they have 3 cloud sofa dupes one is called the Cordelle sectional ($3300) the Cozy 5 pc sectional ( $3200) the Cozy 3 pc sofa ($1800) and the Plush 5 pc ($3700) 6 pc( $3600) the 4pc($3000) I would advise anyone to look on line at them then go to the actual store and sit on them because I went to the store first and only liked one but didn’t think to get the name of it, I looked it up online and they all look the same now I have to go back and sit on them again and find out which one I liked
what about Value City Furniture Nest Sectional?
I believe that’s the one Kiva here on TH-cam has.
How did the Ashley sofa comfort level compare to West Elm’s harmony sofa.
It was pretty comfortable
How durable do you think the Ashley’s fabric will be?
@@nicolewernet6907 im following as i am interested in the ashley
Have you checked out any sofas from EQ3?
Love the details in this video, thank you for this, but what I am really curious about is the wooden cabinet shown behind you in this video? It is beautiful, where would I find this piece?
I like my Scandinavian Leather recliner it's only 8-9k .
I’m so glad you found the video helpful love and good luck on finding a sofa that works for you and your space
Hi where are your bunny tail plants from behind you? So pretty!
Thanks! It’s faux pampas from CB2 and it’s always on sale. They also have real bunny tails
Work well
So helpful! Thanks for this review
Thanks for going to the store. It’s hard to visualize the couch otherwise
Have you heard of Home threads? They have a cloud dupe.
I just saw their dupe - looks great but the color selection is small - green, blue, and dark gray… do you know if they have any other colors

Great video! Im looking into a mod sofa, the PLUSH, by American Signature. Its a more affordable one with many fabric options, and 2 types of filling...feather and core. Id like your opinion on this one.😊
Harmony is great I've gone to sit on it myself but long term it doesn't seem to look as good. It can look frumpy.
Hopefully rotating the cushions will prevent that 🤞🏽
@@JessicaJ_ I hope so but I went in west elm and it looked frumpy in the store and I was just totally turned off by it and purchased the Andes. I'm not paying all that money for me to do extra work to keep it looking fresh. I'd just hire a professional upholstery cleaning company to keep my sofa beautiful and clean yearly
Thank you JessicaJ this video was very helpful.
So glad you found it helpful ❤️
Great video! I’m leaning toward the ModLoft Spruce sectional but I need to read more reviews
Hello. I wanted to know what’s your thoughts on rove concepts couches. There’s a couch I want in the beautiful bright blue, but I haven’t seen any reviews on it or the company and the price of the couch is a lot lol
Their pieces look nice but I’ve never ordered anything from them. Look into their return policy and check out their Instagram comments
Thanks for sharing enjoyed every moment! The cloud ☁️ !!!
I ordered the Harmony Slope Arm from West Elm in Performance White. I hope it doesn’t disappoint.
Keep me updated when you get yours. I won’t get mine until July/August 🥲
@@JessicaJ_ Mine isn't estimated to arrive until the middle of July. I will let you know!
Since your sofa will deliver in July when do they charge your card , at the time of order or when it ships in July?
@@AlNisa21 good question. I placed my order last week and they still haven’t charged me so I’m thinking when it ships, but I’m not 100% sure.
@@AlNisa21 Since the order is Special order and you can’t cancel your order I believe they charge at time of purchase. When I ordered I applied for the West Elm credit card with no interest for 12 months, the email I received had the cost of the sofa added.
Ashley furniture it is!!
Thanks Jessica, Great video!!!!
Thank you!
I already have the Lumin from Cb2 (white) and the axis from C&B and love them!!!
The Lumin is gorgeous the the white fabric. Good to know it’s working out for you.
I am going to buy the harmony, but I have two medium size dogs, I am thinking of the CINDER leather, its darker but very worried about 'pills' or wearing on a lighter performance fabric. Does anyone have the Cinder in a space that you can share a pic?
Very helpful video! Thank you!
Sofa is nice and thanks for the tips
Oh, Jessica, you just touched the surface for decisions. What blend of down/feathers ? What high performance qualities are for you with fabric selection. You do a disservice by recommending without mentioning another valued option...an Interior Designer.
Wish you had a Value City near you and had included the Plush sofa I saw someone with on YT ...it doesn't look like they do performance fabric is the only con...also looking at Zgallerie Stella Sofa
West Elm Harmony hands down

The cloud hands down
Problem for me is being 5'7.5".. and having run about 30 miles a week when young, and having subsequent hip and knee surgeries...
I have the cloud and I love it.
I sit on it every time I go in an RH 🤣
So many good sofas omg 😱 love all the tips !
It was definitely hard to pick one 😆
Value city has a nice dupe as well
Yes, Kiva has that one and she loves it 🙌🏽
What's the VCF model?
Wow.
What a pretty girl.

Yeah it’s very challenging when you can’t actually see and feel the product in person. I hope you find something perfect for you and your family
Excellent video!😎
Hi from Orlando Florida 🙋♀️
I enjoyed watching your video, thank you for your honesty. I ordered the Tanavi sofa and loveseat from Ashley's furniture back in May, still waiting for it. It is very comfortable however, I have a dog and would like to know your opinion on the couch. Thanks
HI! I thought the couch was really comfy...I would definitely keep Folex on hand, and if you let your dog on the couch I would put a throw blanket down to help protect your new couch :)
Hi from MS! I just ordered the Tanavi today. Wow at the backorder. Hoping you get yours soon.
Excellent video! I’m getting the harmony sofa extra deep!😍
Thanks! And congrats on your new sofa! Extra deep sounds extra cozy 😍
@@JessicaJ_ That’s the goal!😉 Your video helped seal the deal so thanks again!
Does anyone have a sectional from Four Seasons? I cannot find many reviews online. 😫
Surprised you didn't mention Jubilee Furniture.
How long have you had the sofa and how is it holding up. Does it sit low? I'm kind of on the taller side so I need one that sits higher but love the look of this style sofa
I won’t get my sectional until July/August but the Harmony has the option to add taller legs if you need the sofa to sit up higher
@@JessicaJ_ Thank you
Great video thank you! Also fab heels. Where are they from?
Thank you! They’re actually from Target. I needed them last minute for an event and they’re actually really comfortable and GOOD!
