Hey Steva! Thanks for requesting. I always appreciate people asking for certain areas. I saw one of your previous comments and googled it and was surprised at what I found. Then TH-cam started recommending more videos about Kensington. I will be in Philadelphia again at some point and will try and drive down the street you recommend. But man, those TH-cam videos about the area are brutal.

And the new yorker be like, yeah thats where we play basketball, this is the fastest way to the movie theater, this is my way to work... Its so crazy and unreal.
I'm American, never been to Brooklyn, but less than a minute in my head got done in seeing the two bridges close and one further south, realized it's Liberty City in GTA and instantly had a sense of the surroundings.
@@ianischill If i would go to new york one day, all i would do is walk around and look at all these sightseeings, all the tall buildings, the bridges, the unbelievable huge central park in the middle of the city and so on. Brooklyn has a population of 2,589,970 people. It is 69.5 square miles. The population of Brooklyn exceeds the population of the following states: Wyoming, Vermont, Alaska, South and North Dakota, Delaware, Rhode Island, Montana, Maine, New Hampshire, Hawaii, West Virginia, Idaho, Nebraska, New Mexico. Plus Washington D.C. Brooklyn is comprised of about 66 neighborhoods. Each neighborhood has a distinct business district, thus each neighborhood is essentially a town unto itself. @@jutah Absolutely! One of the worse things about driving here. There's no better way to describe it but the majority of roads here are dog shit lol. Brooklyn looks like its undergoing some serious development. I'm not familiar with NYC so when I saw you crossing that bridge I legit thought that was Manhattan at first but it was Brooklyn!
I hope it's not getting over developed by the wrong people, it's okay to have places be a little rough around the edges it gives the area character which can be ruined when they make everything so homogenized.
@@carnivore_caveman Downtown Brooklyn and its surrounding area are getting dense with high-rise luxury condos and apartments. I miss the Brooklyn I grew up with, where for many decades the tallest building was the Williamsburg Savings Bank building, which you can see at 18:29 just right of center frame with the illuminated cupola and clock hands lit up in red, now converted into luxury condos. A good part of the blame is on Bruce Ratner for developing Atlantic Terminal shopping mall and Barclays Center stadium, which started a building boom that shows no signs of abating.
